DNA fit has given me a wealth of information. A great foundation to better health. I only want to know more!

As a middle-aged sportsperson I've found the insights provided by the DNAfit team to be useful & relevant. Several areas for attention have been highlighted which I otherwise may not have become aware of. The team works hard to be relevant to their customers. The personalised review over the phone with a trained dietician was particularly impressive & useful. Their website mobile app works well, and various other PDFs & infographics make it easy to understand key insights. Overall, money well spent.

Great product to be in charge of your health. I found safe and personalised information, guidance and support for my diet and fitness based on my DNA results. Also, great customer service and consultation calls!

I chose the full DNAfit analysis and it has been so good in giving me all the information I need to tailor my fitness and diet to best suit me personally. It has also shed light on various things that had confused me previously about the difference in training regimes and what I was eating. It makes it easy to choose and cook food that’s going to suit me and that I’ll really enjoy, and to stay fit and healthy without injury. The telephone calls to go through the reports were also really good. I would highly recommend DNAfit to anyone who wants to look after themselves and keep healthy into the future.

I love the product & results. I don’t love the website & app. It is hard to use & not everything works correctly. I would like to get my clients to you dna fit but afraid it’s not going to work well for them.

Interesting information to know and many different categories to learn from but would like to see a bit more detail and information. Some of the results are no surprise while a select few are worth the cost.

I found the process really straightforward - getting my DNA results from 123andme onto DNAfit. I was really surprised at the quality of the output I received and particularly by the 30 minutes nutrition consultation over the phone - it was great and really brought the results to life.

I purchased the kit on 3rd December and still do not have my results back. Most of my emails to DNAfit go unanswered. I have been chasing up results from the prescribed 10 days after the lab received my swabs, and have now asked for a full refund. These emails have also gone unanswered. It has been a disappointing experience from start to finish, and I would not advise anyone to purchase a kit from them.

Processed my results really fast. Interesting to learn more about how to look after my body in regards to tailored nutrition and fitness. Had my nutrition consultation today (very informative) and have my fitness one tomorrow, looking forward to it!

Received as a present and was really excited to give this a go. But the results just seem very basic, and makes some bold big claims. As an example, I have completed marathons, multiple triathlons last year and 100 mile+ bike races. But I got told to avoid endurance training in my results. Similarly, I get up early and train, yet I'm told I am a night owl! There are big contradictions, i.e. You have a higher sensitivity to carbohydrates- then recommending a 40% carb diet. The meal planner is ridiculous- the first meal suggestion was a lunch of duck breast. The workout planner- is a little copy and paste job- no evidence of any adaption for me. And the follow up consultancy service- nothing available for weeks. I don't know if they are trying to be too clever here, are they taking small amounts of data and making big assumptions on the back of that? It's just leading to a ridiculous out of sync recommendations. Ultimately, I wouldn't recommend.

Update: Raised my review from 1 to 3 stars. Brian, who replied below, called me and showed genuine concern. He did everything he said he would and delivered the completed product for me. It sounded like many of the issues I was dealing with were from rapid grow, which is understandable. Brian seemed to appreciate the opportunity to learn, grow, and make the company better, which I can respect. Buyer Beware. I'm not sure this is even a real company. My wife purchased this service for me for Christmas, and I was super excited to give it a try. I signed in and uploaded my 23&Me raw data on 12/24/19. The site says it should take 30 minutes for my results to show and also be emailed to me. We're at 1/3/20, nearly 9 days later, and I have yet to get my results. I emailed the company 12/26 asking for an update, and I received a very generalized email from a "customer service rep" saying my issue had been escalated to their IT team. Another couple of days goes by and I ask for another update to which they (same customer service rep) replied back asking for my username, which they had from the beginning. I reply to every email they send me with an answer within hours, then I get emails back saying they're going to close my ticket because I haven't replied. I think they have a single, outsourced customer service rep. I asked for a refund twice, but they act like they don't even see it in the email. No responses mentioning the hint of a refund. There's no way I would recommend this company. Stick to the big boy DNA analysis companies. This one is in over their heads.

It appears to be a waste of money. Lots of pretty pictures and maybe a sentence or 2 explaining what your results mean and then you're sent on your way. You get considerably more information with xcode.life. Even then, all these different health reports say varying things and the results that are consistent are the results you already probably know about (like obvious lactose intolerance or poor workout recovery, which you really only need one test to confirm). I really would not recommend anyone take the nutritional portion seriously. For example: dnafit says my need for Vit D is "normal" (thanks for explaining clearly what that even means, and no if you've provided a 20 page explanation of my results, i'm not going to read that), which is downright dangerous to trust. PLEASE see a registered dietician/ licensed medical professional with a background in functional medicine, and get any vitamins or minerals measured that he/she may suspect you're low on at consult. You can be very low on vitamins and minerals that this report won't tell you. My vitamin D was a 12 which is extremely low. Conclusion: Getting actual blood drawn at the lab/ seeing a good functional medicine practitioner is far more accurate and worthy of your time, money, and energy. This type of practitioner will not only confirm your suspicions of something major, but also help you heal! Why pay a hundred dollars for a test to tell you - yeah, uh huh you have it! Want to know the extent of the fitness portion? Training intensity response- which tends to be 50/50% (so pointless), aerobic response (you have a high/low response, congrats! End of result), post-exercise recovery (mine was high. does not clearly explain how it can contract the next result which is..), injury disposition (also a high disposition, do you get my point?). Bottom line, what exactly do we learn from this company? At least you can get a dozen more reports for just 99 with xcode.life. I've also tried 23&me health, which is good and tests for various things dnafit does not. It more so brings peace of mind that you don't have a susceptibility to various results. Update: I didn't see they have nutrient and exercise plans tailored to your dna results. The value for your money may lie here.

Great service and ease of use. Haven’t even fully reviewed all the results yet - it’s amazing how much information they provide and will take a little while to fully understand. The consultations they provide following the results are really helpful.
