Homeheat Scotland impressed me immediately as they were the only company who wanted to come out and inspect the site for boiler rather than rely on photographs. I was further impressed by Kevin, the patient, polite young man who carried out the inspection and talked me through all my various options. Quote was given immediately and boiler was installed the following day. Fitters arrived on time in spite of appalling weather conditions, were respectful of my home and cleaned up after the job was finished. Homeheat office staff too were helpful and efficient, keeping me informed at every step and checking afterwards to ensure I was satisfied with the job. I am more than happy to recommend the company.

I requested a quote from this company three years ago and subsequently went with a quote I facilitated myself. Fast forward three years and someone has hacked into the account and requested a quote, the company have been asked to remove all of my data from their systems and confirm the IP of the hacker who logged in - neither of which have been done. They cannot confirm whether a breach of data has happened to enable my dormant quote request from 2018 to be resurrected. The following day an unrelated boiler company from Swindon processed a manual credit card transaction against my account fraudulently. I have been asked to edit this review as the Boiler Guide have stated it is defamatory but I am simply reporting facts. I understand the Boiler Guide did not commit the fraudulent transaction however the timing for my account hack and credit card fraud is too coincedental. At the very least I have concerns over their cyber security and data processing controls.
