United Kingdom | 26 November 2024Unfortunately their customer service team either lack the capability or the will to perform basic functions. I requested to change the payment method on my account, which you would expect to be quite a simple task, however after a few phone calls I was assured that the next payment would be out of my new business account. Low and behold, the next payment came out of the old account. Not to worry, I'll immediately call them up and get them to refund that transaction and take the money from the new correct account (which they had on their system). No... we can't do a refund without a statement, despite their system showing that they had taken the payment. Ok so I'll have to wait a few weeks to have my end of month statement come through, no problem... Statement comes through showing the amount debited, can I please have a full refund and debit the payment from the new card which was showing on their system all along? Answer- 'no, you can only have a refund for the remaining credit you have on the account' Unfortunately this does not work for me with regards to my bookkeeping and VAT claims. I know! just debit the correct card so that I am in credit to the amount that needs to be refunded to my old account. Take my money go go go. "No can't do that I'm afraid" Sorry, you can't take a payment off my card? "No, can't do that" This just baffles me. Such a simple thing and they can't do it. 1. I was assured that my payment method had been changed and no further payment would be taken from the old card. 2. If they had acknowledges their mistake, they could have refunded me straight away and there wouldn't be this issue. 3. It sounded like the customer support adviser I spoke to just couldn't be bothered with the 'effort' of this simple resolution. He even tried to tell me that it was fine and no problem!!!!!!! Why oh why should I spend so much of my time dealing with a waste management company. I have other businesses which have a direct contract with the waste collector and I have never had any problems and their customer service is second to none... UPDATE- after being assured that no further payments would be taken from my old card, another quarterly payment has been taken..... No one in their customer services has a clue what is going on.

United Kingdom | 26 November 2024Joke of a company - called in October to cancel contract when moving studios as I'd found a significantly cheaper alternative, told it would cost £500 to end 5 months early so asked just to change my address. Well it's been 2 months now with 9 calls made and a formal complaint, no waste has been collected, every time I call they say they have actioned the change of address as the last person hasn't done it correctly and they'll chase the collection. Apparently everyone working here is completely incapable and of a very low mental capacity. No resolution to the complaint was offered and refused to be put through to a manager. Avoid at all costs. EDIT - I provided the info via email which couldn't be matched. You also didn't mention the 3 separate calls made on Monday after the first one didn't get the call back within the hour as stated. The call last Friday with the promise of a call back that didn't come. The call made the previous week that said you were coming out 10 days later but didn't. Make this so I can reply to the shitty response you've given like I'm in the wrong here, you jokers. I've STILL not been given a date for you coming out either your teams full of shit.
