I had a few gold sovereigns which I bought several years ago and wanted to sell them locally to save the cost and anxiety of trying to post them. Looking online I saw that Scottish Bullion was not too far away and made a booking over the phone to go in for a valuation; although a provisional one was given during the call. I did not know what to expect when I got there, wondering that perhaps it might be some little office up the stairs somewhere. In fact it is a very impressive affair: automatic glass door with intercoms, bright marble corridors, receptionists behind bulletproof screens in the wall, and a large video playing showing the actual vault with the deposit boxes lining the walls like a film set. The actual transaction took place in a secure booth and was very pleasantly and professionally carried out; the money was in my account two working days later.

I was reluctant to sell my bullion coins through post then I came across this service. Such a great and excellent service provided by Craig. We booked for sell appointment on Friday which took us 10-15 mins and everything was sorted out from inspection and verification in front of us. Payment was made earlier than promised time (within 2-3 business days). Highly recommend this for safe deposits and buying/selling bullion coins/bars.

I got an appointment the same day and even though I was expecting payment after the new year because of people being off for the festive break, I got the promised amount the next working day!
