(DON'T USE THIS COMPANY) Well I contacted this company to help clear my debts as I knew I wasn't able to maintain my debts with the payday loan cycle it was killing me. They said they could help and I'd be debt free in less than 3 years took 1300£ off me for me to wait 6 months for them to come up with an official plan whilst also telling me I should ignore phone calls from debtors. I currently pay them 40£ a month for the privallage? I paid them over 1800£ for nothing more than bad advice and a piece of paper and a phone call about how they could possibly save me thousands I said that sounds good ill let you know but apparently I made a verbal agreement so they charge me another 600£ to give me and external lawyers number who says I have no chance but if I wanna proceed it'll be £1000. I now have a ccj against me and im still in debt when before I got in touch with this company I'd never missed a payment. (DON'T USE THIS COMPANY)

i have beenwith them for 1 years and a half not very satisfied. when you call them they wouldnt really answer the fone,, they gets really annoyed when you try to call them regards your creditor letters. firstly they bait you with nice confident talk, after you registered with them they starts showing you they true color. they will rob you 40pounds every months for nothing and you will end up paying soo much more then your actual debt when you strech your loan for long period. other day i called them to opt out they answer my call after 30 min some one picks up puts me in a hold for another 10 min then tells me that i have to give them 30 days notice so i end up paying 40 pounds for nothing again just to opt out. they had called me again recently after even i have opt out. so i tried calling them but after 30 min ring kept getting hung up by them. i would never recommend debt compare to anyone unless if you want more stress in your life just so they know its a genuine. customer my reference number was 51710.

Biggest mistake I did work with debt compare. They took 3 month 192 pound every month and didn’t pay anything to my creditors, after they charge me 40 pounds every month. Now i did cancel payments they still didn’t cancel, please go work and talk with creditors yours self, will be much cheaper!!! No way Debt Compare

The biggest mistake I ever made in my life was getting involved with debt Compare Ltd. I am convinced they are there to take advantage of people who are struggling with debt to reap them off and compound there problems. This was exactly what they did to me. They promised to help me negotiate with my creditors to allow me pay plan that I can comfortably afford. Debt compare took £240 from me for three month making it £720 and another £200. Plan another £200. Yet they were not doing anything about my debt as I later found out from my creditors. In five months, they only contacted one once and the second one twice. Yet they claimed to be acting on my behalf Debt Compare will never update or contact me until a day before the day they are to collect money from my account, just to be sure their money is ready. My creditors were on my neck and it was becoming very depressing for me. I then spoke to a friend of mine who told me about Citizen advise team . I contacted them. After reading through my contract letter from Debt Compare.i was advised to distance myself from them because their services does not suit my circumstance,and recommend pay plan or Step change for me. With the help And advise of Step Change (A free debt management group), i contacted my creditors and now, am making progress with them and feel really great. The creditors are not as bad as debt Compare will make you believe they are.In fact they can really help you if you call and explain your situation to them. I wish I knew this earlier.

Started off great, really thought they would help me with my debts however 10 months down the line I haven't recieved any help and only 1 of my creditors has accepted their offer. I've rang several times asking where my payment packs were so I could pay each creditor to be told they would be resent and this has been going on for the last few months and I haven't recieved anything. I got through today to a young guy (jake or James?) to be told your no longer dealing with personal budgeting and I've been passed to another company. What the hell have I been paying you for then all these months? Disgusted and feel let down when I've been actively trying to rectify my problems.

To begin with debt compare were very helpful . This was last June . So chatty and asking for good reviews ! I gave them 4 star and was quickly contacted to ask how they could make it 5 stars ! I explained once my debts were set up and everything was on order I would give them 5 stars . However this never happened ! Now however I have still not got my debts sorted and they do not return emails or calls . I emailed as that is my preferred method of contact and I contacted them using the app .But still no reply. I finally spoke to someone today who told me my case has been passed on to another accountants ! I have debt collectors contacting me and needed debt compare to do what I’ve been paying them for but they haven’t . I would not recommend them to anyone !
