Ordered the Oakley glasses I was looking for and at a great price! Very satisfied and the service is outstanding.

The glasses were delivered in just a few days. The only issue I had was that there was a small piece of plastic that was stuck to the nose molding piece. During my run the nose piece rubbed off a little patch of skin. I was able to get the plastic piece off using a knife and now all is fine with the glasses.

Over the past 10 years, I’ve had excellent experiences with three other online eyewear retailers. Customer service on those sites has been exceptional, and my orders have always gone smoothly. Unfortunately, my experience with Frames Direct has been disappointing. Over the past year, I have purchased and kept at least five pairs of glasses from Frames Direct, while also returning five pairs. Given my demanding work schedule, buying glasses online is far more convenient and time-saving than visiting a store. However, as glasses are one of the first things people notice and that I wear every day, it’s crucial that they both look good on my face and fit well. While I appreciate the reduced prices, I'm still paying around $300 per pair, so being able to try them on and return them if they don’t fit is essential. Recently, I attempted to purchase another pair, only to be informed by customer service that my future purchases would be final sale due to the number of returns I’ve made, meaning I would have to keep the glasses regardless of fit. I reminded them that despite my returns, I had purchased and kept five pairs this year alone. Unfortunately, they were unwilling to accommodate my situation, even after I offered to buy just one pair at a time. This policy feels unfair, especially for a loyal customer who has spent a significant amount of money on their site. There are other online eyewear retailers that I have used where I’ve never been penalized for returns, and they appreciate me as a frequent buyer. I can’t justify risking $300 on a pair of glasses that may not fit, and this experience has left me disappointed with Frames Direct’s approach to customer service and loyalty. Updated Review after Reading the Response from Frames Direct I have purchased a total of 10 pairs of glasses from this retailer, and after trying them on, I returned 5 pairs and kept 5 pairs. I am confused and disappointed that I am now being penalized for returning those 5 pairs, especially since their policy explicitly states that you can return glasses that do not fit. I’ve spent well over $1,500 on the 5 pairs that I kept, which shows my commitment as a customer, yet they are treating my returns as a problem. What’s even more frustrating is their customer service. Despite emailing and calling several times and specifically requesting to speak with a manager, I was only told that a manager has decided that I can now only purchase glasses on a final sale basis with no option for returns. This restriction seems completely unfair, especially given their return policy and the fact that I am a loyal customer who has made significant purchases. Overall, I’m still confused about their return policy and the way they handle customer inquiries. The experience has left me extremely dissatisfied. In comparison, my experience with two other online glasses retailers has been wonderful, with smooth transactions and great customer service. It’s unfortunate that this retailer doesn’t measure up to those standards.

I found a pair of frames in a local eyeglass shop and absolutely loved them. Unfortunately, they didn't accept my insurance, and the frames were $250! I couldn't find them anywhere else locally and turned to the internet. I found the frames at Framesdirect.com and they were only $117! I was able to purchase the frames and manually file toward my insurance allowance for a partial reimbursement. I feel like I got a great deal.

I ordered Shuron sunglasses with the expectation they would process and ship as detailed. However, days passed beyond the posted timelines, and I continued to hear nothing from Frames Direct. Every message from customer service told me they would find an update, but I continued to hear nothing. Days later, I called customer service and was only then told my glasses were further delayed by another two weeks. It was a very frustrating experience, and I would not have purchased from Frames Direct if I knew this would happen. Edit: Frame direct feeling sorry that my purchase was delayed for many weeks and making no effort to ameliorate it doesn't amount to anything. I would recommend finding another vendor.

exactly what i ordered and they fit perfectly. only issue is it took 2 weeks to actually get my new glasses. I'm thankful my old pair wasn't completely broken.
