United Kingdom | 28 February 2025Once my GP made the referral through right to choose the process was fairly quick. The assessment was completed online which was great as it can be stressful taking my son to new places. He was able to be out of the room at the beginning of the assessment, meaning he didn't have to listen to what he can't do. The assessor made him feel comfortable so he demonstrated his true lovely self. We got a verbal diagnosis and were warned it may take several weeks before we get any paperwork.

United Kingdom | 27 February 2025We found you through the right to choose system with the NHS. We waited less than 6 months for the appointment to come through. Very thorough assessment for my daughter's ADHD assessment. We felt really listened to. Thank you.

United Kingdom | 25 February 2025Psicon's service as a right to choose provider of ASD and ADHD assessments is excellent and offers a relatively quick alternative to the endless waiting time that CAMHS offers. Communication was excellent throughout the process and we were advised of waiting list times. We were fortunate to get a quick appointment due to personal circumstances and the cancellation of another appointment and the whole process was very efficient.

United Kingdom | 20 February 2025OMG Everyone needs to know about NHS Right to Choose (Interestingly the Government & NHS don't like to tell people about it) It was my sister who, by chance, spotted info about it) With Psicon our son had his assessment within 4.5 months of initial application. Our wait via CAMHS is predicted to be 3 years minimum!!! By which time it's obvious he would have finished his GCSEs, so what's the pi****g point!!! Psicon were brilliant. Fantastic communication, compared to zero communication from CAMHS!!!! The clinician who assessed our son was super lovely & really put him at ease!! We would 100% recommend Psicon. We are still waiting for the official report to arrive but have no doubt it will arrive in a timely manner.

United Kingdom | 20 February 2025The staff at the Basingstoke office were very welcoming and accepting. The autism assessment for our 5 year old child took 6 months from start to diagnosis, we are awaiting the detailed report which should be with us within 8 weeks. The assessors we met were professional, thorough and clear. Overall a great experience so far, thank you.

United Kingdom | 19 February 2025We arrived and were greeted at the desk and offered a drink (and biscuits) then shown into the waiting room where there were fidgets toys for patients (/children) to play with while waiting, we were seen promptly and the staff were very accommodating trying to make my son feel comfortable before and during the testing process very kind and patient friendly staff

United Kingdom | 17 February 2025The service we have received so far with my son's autism and ADHD diagnosis has been great. Staff are helpful and friendly and the Doctor we spoke to over Zoom was good. However, my son is 17 so I cannot comment on the experience with a younger child.

United Kingdom | 13 February 2025Administrative processes are shocking and let down the whole company. Every time I've tried to get in contact I've had wait on average of 30 mins plus, just to speak to a person! Emails were left unanswered and not forwarded to the correct person. The Wait time for the assessment was longer than initially discussed. When finally had the appointment, after we sent further information via email for our clinician. This should've been handelled and another appointment made. After 2 weeks I had to call up, wait 30 mins to speak to someone, and have them send the info to the clinician. I was then told I would be contacted for 2nd appointment. Again no one contacted me and I had to call, wait 30 mins, and ask to have the appointment made with the clinician. Since the first appointment/assessment, now close to 5 weeks has passed. I was told by the clinician the report would be 6 to 8 weeks to recieve, and that I needed to call to get diagnosis letter sent and if I needed the report sooner (as 5 weeks has already passed) for paediatric appointment that is coming, I needed to ask for that. So, I call again, wait over 20 mins to speak to a woman with an attitude regarding the issuing of the report. That it would be 8 to 12 weeks. I was told 6 to 8 by the clinician, unsure why I deserved an attitude, and have been held up for nearly 5 weeks waiting for diagnosis so now have to wait a further 8 to 12 when I have an impending paediatrician appointment? I would not suggest your company for adhd assessment. The waiting time and lack of communication, plus me having to chase up at every stage just to move things forward, the waiting time just to speak to someone, and the attitude from the last staff member was shocking. The clinician was lovely and the only positive part of the experience.
