I've been pretty loyal to COAT for while now as the paint is great to work with and I love the variety of shades available. I recently had an order delivered wrong and I was so so impressed with the customer service team and their efforts to get it rectified for me. I spoke with Jim via email and thought he was fantastic, it felt like they genuinely understood how inconvenient the situation was and sorted it out asap even though it was a Sunday. We are now exclusively a COAT paints household.

I painted over a very dark green with Coats, “yard party” green, which is a cool, light green. it took 1 coat! Literally start to finish in less than 2 hours. such a lovely finish, it doesn’t drip or run like other paints and my bathroom looks fabulous! Will never buy paint elsewhere again!

Excellent paint - really impressed with coverage and finish. Chose Cold Brew and Sunday Soul and love them both. Will definitely use again and completely recommend

A couple of weeks ago I ordered samples & colour chart, chose the colour for our kitchen being refitted , ordered paint which arrived the next day, impressed with hessian bag & paint stirrer…Today the decorator did the exposed newly plastered & primed walls , he was very impressed with the quality of the paint & the way it coated / finished look , we were delighted with our colour choice & will definitely use coat paints again.

Coat is now my go to paint. It always has the best coverage. I paint some of the time but when I've had decorators they also rave and it. The colour choices are divine and I'm a big fan of their eco focus

First time user after some advice from the director, but the coverage was EXCELLENT. Just 1 coat did the job and looked fabulous when finished. No drips, and no mess the color was for a second bedroom, and used The Good China, lovely and elegant, A 1 x 2.5 Lt tin did the whole room. Already recommended this supplier to a few neighbors who are moving home and redecorating, as they had NEVER heard of the product before now

Ordered paint in part because of the next working day delivery. Received an email saying that the order was on it's way but I did not receive it when I should have (or since). The order on the website was not updated to show it had been dispatched. They agreed to send a replacement but this will not arrive until (hopefully) Thursday. This is difficult as I have taken the week off work to complete this project and won't receive the primer or paint until Thursday and it has a long drying time.

We’ve bought 3 different COAT paints and they’ve all been amazing, the paint goes a long way and the colours are like none other. Huge thanks to the customer service team, I had to return one tub ( my mistake ordering the wrong finish ), it then got lost in transit but the after sales team were quick to help and refund me! The paint later arrived back with them around two weeks later. If they hadn’t have rectified this issues, we would have gone elsewhere, but due to the loyal and trustworthy customer service we will keep coming back. Thanks again.

I love this paint. My front door looks so expensive!

Really love the colour but did not enjoy painting with it. Dries much quicker than other brands, so often when coming back near edges with a roller, the paint would lift off. This has led to an inconsistent finish and patches. Also peeled off in places with the frogtape. You need WAY more of it than you think. A 1L pot did not even do just one wall (and one coat) and so will have to spend £75 just to paint one feature wall.

I ordered two times the same colour, however once applying my third layer (yes two layers weren’t even enough for such an expensive paint) I noticed that the colours were different, one of them was lighter than the other, which now resulted in stripes and two different colours on my wall. I send coat painting an email, however no response yet. I only read in the reviews that they send another batch of paints, which is in my opinion not sufficient. I need to wait and purchase all the gear again and put a fourth and hoping not fifth layer to get the job done. I am very disappointed, 160 euro lighter and my walls are completely ruined.

Ordered two tins of the same colour. They were completely different on application. This was fine- annoying but fine. Mistakes are made in mixing and we were happy to contact coat and rectify the issue. That’s when the problems began! It has been 5 days since I emailed with the issue at hand and images, no response. The online chat function on the website tells me they are out of the studio on a daily basis and when i try and call the number it does not ring at all but says number failed. How is one supposed to contact them? We have a painter who has another job lined up and ready to leave in the next few days as he has almost finished everywhere else. Where is the customer service?

The Coat undercoat was not good quality. It didn't do what it said it would do, even though I followed the instructions to the letter. I spent a lot of time researching which paint to use for my brand new radiators, which I wanted to paint a different colour. After sanding the radiators, I opened the paint to find it very watery. When applying it was covered in bubbles and when it had dried, spots of rust appeared all over the radiator, despite it being brand new and having nothing like this prior to being undercoated. A second coat did cover the rust, but it was really very uneven, so now I'm left with a right mess and damage to brand new radiators. I can't recommend this paint.

DO NOT TRUST when it says "COAT paint is considered self-priming and has excellent coverage, so it will easily tackle regular walls and trim in two coats". We redid our kitchen. WE PRIMED and it took over 3 coats to get am even finished. Not only that we bought the paint that is supposed to be "Easy clean" when again that is WRONG!!!! I splashed some clean water on the accidentally and the water marks are still there. You cannot even wipe it! This is the WORST PAINT i have EVER USED

Wanted an ethical, environmentally friendly paint that gave good coverage. Loved the samples and colour options, so decided to try painting my dining room. I bought Mr. Clifton matt paint and the paint kit. Gorgeous colour, covered well and impressed with the finish. So much so, I shall be ordering more for my hallway. Would definitely recommend.

Love Coat! The quality of the paint is fantastic. Also, the customer services is great too. I didn’t order enough paint originally so had to order extra. When it arrived it appeared that the paint in the tin was not correct colour. I contacted Coat via instagram and got a reply straight away. The issue was resolved quickly and I had received the replacement very quickly. Helen (on instagram) was super helpful and very apologetic over the mistake. So although it wasn’t straight forward, I really have to rate Coat’s customer service! Will be buying more from Coat!
