All I can say is WOW ! I am a Farrow & Ball fanatic. Hague Blue in the lounge and Pavillion Gray in my master bedroom. I follow a you tuber and was inspired by her lounge done in Coat Paints (but copied by Valspar) - my own personal experience of that was a disaster. I read they are pretty new and thought why not give them a go. I loved the peel and stick option (how clever). I fell in love with the colour Darlington (deep green dark grey). The delivery was uber fast and I loved the small touches like the label on the back of who mixed my paint "Polly" and the date it was made up. The so handy wood stick to mix too. I am so impressed with the finish - I went for soft sheen (walls) and estate for my panelling, my brief was moody heritage bedroom and it is just PERFECT. Thankyou guys I will be spreading the word. Buying for my next project too - debate club

We had an issue with our order but didn't realise till a few weeks later. Contacted customer service and they sorted in minutes and sent us replacements out immediately which arrived the next day. Fabulous customer service! The ceiling paint has gone on a dream and looks lovely. It's a beautiful shade of white, although it's a brilliant white on application it has a warmth to it. We are now using Nomad on the walls and it has transformed the room. The coverage is excellent, it looks luxurious and the colour is deep and rich, not flat.

I purchased two colours of matt paint. I assume the only difference in composition was the added colour. Both were stirred the same amount, applied in the same room on the same day using similar brushes and applied over the same primer. Yet the pink paint went on well, covered well and I was able to give it a light sand between coats. The blue covered poorly, became tacky so fast I could not remove the extra paint that went over edges, the primer showed through and when I tried to very lightly sand it 24 hours later the paint rolled up under the fine sandpaper that I was was using. A couple of spots flaked off leaving bare primer. I am letting it dry further and hoping I can sand again without having to take off all of the paint. A separate request for advice on a topcoat for a table painted with their matt paint generated a response advising me on how to use satin paint on woodwork and trim. Not really helpful.

5 stars for customer service. They have exceeded my expectations, after not a great experience I had with COAT's product.

Ordering on site, delivery, to application has been a brilliant experience. Must say I really like the business, what it stands for. The application of the product so far on the walls has been easy and great finish. We highly recommend!

Having painted with dulux before and being massively disappointed by the quality, I switched to COAT paints, absolutely fantastic quality and beautiful colors. So far have painted half our walls with COAT and continue the rest of the house. Paint is packaged really well for delivery and comes with mixing sticks. Just placed an order for a colour match of a paint I already have on the walls but needs redoing. Greatly recommend and my go to paint brand.

This has got to be the best paint I have ever used. The coverage is brilliant. Yes it is more expensive than other brands of paint but it’s well worth the money I will never use another brand of paint again. Also their customer service is exceptional.

Love the colour, absolutely hate the paint. The eggshell pools and drips despite applying as thinly as possible. It smells terrible which can’t be right. Wall paint is like water and separated, completely unusable - drips fly off brushes and pads, unlike the f&b paints I usually use. It also smells horrible, has it perhaps gone off, is that possible? Never had that with paint before. We are cutting our losses and getting a different paint now. I won’t use coat paints again.

I used 2 colours and the primer. Good quality and coverage. Even helped hide some scratches on my walls.

What can I say other than disappointing. Bought a 5ltr tin of 2am (dark blue) for a feature wall. Stirred it thoroughly prior to use and flecks appeared. I wiped them with a finger and they were flecks of white paint. Clearly the paint hadn't been mixed properly. I reported it and as per request sent photos showing the flecks. Their response last week was no more than ‘oh dear’ we can send you 1ltr to finish the job (for a wall that needed 5lts?). I ended up having to sand it down and in the end got a tin of V&Co - we didn’t even get the replacement 1ltr. Be careful is all I’d say… as long as you get a good tin all maybe well ….but when things go wrong it’s poor service.

Lovely paint with good coverage and comes in loads of great shades for a subtle and beautiful interior. I have used furniture paint as well as bathroom paint and both have fantastic coverage with great results.

Whilst I love their colours, I am disappointed as the paint is far too over priced for what it is. They also give out 10% off, which is only for orders over a certain amount. What's the point? I don't think I'll be getting paint here again. Maybe they should rethink their prices a little? 2.5l doesn't really get you far especially at £49

Let's start with the obvious, this paint is expensive. And that brings certain expectations, which for me this paint did not meet at all. There was some good things. Easy to order, good delivery and well packaged. Upon opening the tin the colour was very nice, dark green with hints of gold, and we couldn't wait to get it on the wall. I'm afraid that's about as good as it got. It went on the wall well enough, and after an hour we admired our handy work, in certain light it was very patchy with very obvious roller marks. A second coat failed to rectify this and it was not like something I've experienced with other paints - at any price point. After watering down the paint slightly for a third coat, it finally looked acceptable. For the price paid I don't expect to be doing 3 coats and watering down the product, it should go on right first time straight out of the tin. Later I spotted a few patches that could probably do with a bit of touching up resulting in fairly obvious cover up attempts, and the paint did not blend well once dry. Unfortunately all the beautiful colour of the paint in the tin looked pretty flat on the wall once dry, but maybe that's just me. But the biggest thing for me is how easily the paint marks once dry. Brush against the wall? Mark. Lean on the wall? Mark. Try and wipe a mark off the wall? Mark. Maybe it's the colour we've got (tobbaconist) but it's so fragile, and feels like walking past a wall is a challenge. I dread to think what will happen to it when I put up a few pictures. I wouldn't use Coat again, I could live with the poor application for the colours, but it's just too fragile, which at any price is not acceptable, but for the price they charge I'd have to be crazy to use it again.

I am not sure what to do with the satin woodwork and radiator that I painted with The Drink. The paint is like a layer of plastic that just peels off like skin and it won’t come off with paint stripper and is very hard to remove with a scraper. I want the radiator back to an off white and am at a loss how to remove the dark blue paint

I loved working with COAT Paints, the customer service was excellent and the product surpassed my expectations. COAT Paints should be in everyone's home, their colours are beautiful and the quality is outstanding. I used a selection of COAT paints for my ensuite makeover, including their; Low Salt Floor paint, Record Store for the radiator, and Cargo in Matt for the walls.

I was super excited about the color. I painted something very dark for the first time and also painted the wall ceiling and with the color from coat it was particularly easy. it was easy to apply and very easy to work with!
