Feeling overwhelmed with the task of having to decide on colours for our home, I decided to use a Colour Consultancy. I chose Coat because of the ethical decisions they make. I have never done something like this, so I was both nervous and excited. Booking the appointment was simple and straightforward. I opted for the in home consultation. Aaron was my colour consultant. His expertise, enthusiasm and in-depth knowledge of colour put me at ease within a short time. I was so impressed how brilliantly Aaron could identify the colours that would suit the light in each room and how he subtly layered the colours to create a lovely flowing feeling throughout. Following on from the consultation. I received in post the hand-painted peel-and-stick samples of the colour scheme he recommended. Aaron also emailed a mood board using the colours which brought to life what the rooms would look like, I really appreciated the additional suggestions, the colour for wood flooring and bathroom tiles to the mood board, which I’ve taken onboard. Would I recommend the Coat colour consultancy? YES! Having an expert opinion to help you see your space from a fresh perspective was invaluable. They don’t push you to do anything you don’t want to but will help you consider paint colours and ideas that you probably wouldn’t have on your own. I really was buzzing the whole day after Aaron left and can’t wait to start the project.

This is my second order from COAT and I love everything about this company. The customer service is great, I emailed asking about paint suggestions and how much to get and Josh emailed me a couple of times and provided the help I needed! Also this paint is like a dream to paint with. It’s not claggy and you can tell the quality of the paint is a higher spec than your average dulux. My walls needed two coats mainly because it’s an older house. The black wall might have got away with it (The Record Store) but Duvet Day definitely needs two coats. I bought a tin of primer on this order as it was actually cheaper than the high street brands so will see how that works next. Will recommend COAT to anyone. The colour choices are great, and I love the ethos of it being a climate positive paint. There is no nasty harsh smell with these paints either! Honestly 10 out of 10. Well worth spending a bit extra!

This paint goes on very smoothly. Only needed one coat for each room. Packaged beautifully. Tins in linen bags that can be reused. One tin goes a long way. Very good and efficient service. Gorgeous selection of colours. Would highly recommend

I painted my shower in this paint, it was left 3 days with a window open, and I tested the paint with a quick water spray and the dye has ran down the shower and the paint has bubbled, it’s dry and smooth to touch but my shower is ruined. Awful! It states on the tin for bathroom tiles with a shower on the advertisement! I’m so sad my bathroom is ruined as it will just keep running and peeling over time until I get it ripped out completely.

Very very poor. The paint peels off , stains don’t wipe off i fact where you wipe the paint looks one shade lighter just not appropriate. Premium price for a very poor product I totally wasted my money. No response to messages. Very very very poor

Je ne connaissais pas Coat Paint et je suis vraiment ravie de cette découverte. Non seulement cette peinture est respectueuse de l’environnement mais la qualité est remarquable et les couleurs sont sublimes ! D’autant plus qu’elles sont fidèles aux échantillons ainsi qu’aux photos du site ce qui est plutôt rare notamment en ce qui concerne les peintures des grandes enseignes…. Bref, au moins je ne me prendrais plus la tête à l’avenir pour choisir ma peinture ça sera chez Coat Paint sans hésitation !!!

He took time to listen to my needs, then guided me through a whole-house scheme with professional ease, without rushing. He was extremely personable and happily took time to answer all my follow up questions. Problem solved! Highly recommended - thank you Aaron! :)

The BEST paint I’ve ever bought. There’s no going back for me. The colours are lovely and totally match the tester when dry. Coverage is AMAZING! We are renovating a house. We covered an orange bathroom with Yard Party - a light green - it only needed one coat. I had a small issue with one of my deliveries that was sorted immediately. I’ve used Coat on ever room so far, like I said no going back. You get what you pay for - great paint.

I am on house renovation number 8 (this is a big one!) and have also decorated all four daughter’s houses (that’s a lot of paintbrush hours!) and last weekend l used COAT paint for the first time. NEVER before have l found a paint that was so FABULOUS in terms of ease of application which was indeed velvety, outstanding coverage and an absolutely stunning finish. All the above without the splashes and drips the usual Brands seem to have. In fact, l only needed one coat which has saved me a LOT of time (Biscuits for Breakfast over a mid to dark grey and no show through!) I have used traditional paints, the famous Old English sheep dog paint, big decorating brands that mix paint (if you are reading this you all know who they are) but COAT is truly outstanding and follows through with what it promises on the tin and in its marketing info! THANK YOU COAT for making such a difference! AMAZING!
