I was having a problem with my engine and a nice claims lady sent me to a shop a few blocks from where I lived. The mechanic was very informative and in a few days i had my car fixed ! Thanks for everything!

I bought a car and purchased a-protect warranty with it and a year and a half later I had problems with my transmission, they made my claim very easy, send me to their mechanic and he diagnosed my problem right away and a week later I got my car back and it drives perfect now. Thanks for your help a-protect. I will be recommending to everyone.

Best company on the market. For the last 18 years all of my cars were covered by A-Protect Warranty, if I had a claim it was done right away without any hassle. I do recommend their services to all.

The alternator went on my ford150,i was worried that i was going to have to put out close to a thousand dollars.thankfully it was covered by a-protect.I walked away a very happy customer.The warranty was well worth the money...Danny k

I purchased a warranty from Dynasty Auto at Finch and Weston Rd in Toronto which came with an A-Protect warranty. I knew that most of these aftermarket warranty companies are a scam and offer a low coverage such as $750 or $800 per claim less another $150 deductible which leaves you with next to nothing. So I purchased a $2500.00 coverage with 0 deductible and paid over a $1,000 for it. When my transmission went I called A-Protect Warranty and they sent me to AAMCO transmission. Before going to their select AAMCO Transmission I went to Honda Dealer. They quoted me $2,943.00 plus tax for a rebuilt transmission including part and labour. When I visited AAMCO I insisted on a written quote, knowing that a written quote according to "Repair & Storage Lien Act" cannot vary for more than 10% upon completion. AAMCO'S quote was initially $2,833.15 plus tax including part &labour, which even appeared to be slightly cheaper than Honda's estimate. When I got a call to go and pick up the car I was asked to pay $5,701.46 plus tax. I thought initially that they wanted me to pay and then receive my reimbursement from A-Protect warranty. When I told them that A-Protect Warranty will pay them directly this is what they said and you will be shocked!; The service advisor said that the written quote was solely my portion of the repair and in reality the repair cost came to $5,701.46. He claimed that they will receive another $2,500.00 from A-Protect. This clearly means the the warranty company was not gonna pay anything on my behalf and they were just making it look like as if money changed hands between A-Protect warranty and AAMCO transmission.What a scam!!! After I forcefully footed the bill, I got few over the phone quotes from other AAMCO transmissions and they ranged between $2,500 to $3,000 max plus tax. Later on, I found out from a gentle man at Eagle Transmission that they do not even accept work from most After Market Warranty Companies including Autogard and A-Protect for the very same reason. He said that they have been approached by both companies to do this kind of upselling in exchange with guaranteed volume of work to be sent o them. A-protect Warranty is expecting garages to jack up the cost of a selected repair in accordance with the beneficiary's coverage so they do not have to pay anything. In exchange they guarantee to sent x number of jobs to those participating garages which they like to call "Authorized Repair Facility" in the fine print of their contract. As for the scamming dealership Dynasty Auto located at Finch and Weston Rd. run by 2 scam artist brothers Alex and Gyle Soleimanov, they pocket most of the money collected for the extra warranty plus some more in kick backs and do not care about the buyer once they set foot outside their dealership. This is a vey old and common scam amongst most after market auto warranty companies who forcibly sent their customers to a select garages and do not give the beneficiary the option to visit the garage of their choice. This goes often undetected and is very hard to proof in court. If you have experienced such issue and you have a quote from the garage of your choice which is far less that what you have been charged by A-Protect's "Authorized Reapir Shop" call OMVIC at 416-226-4500 and take the Used Car Dealer and the Warranty Company to Small Claim's Court for defrauding you out of your coverage. Sorry it is a scam. I bought an extra warranty for my AWD vehicle for 18 months. 12 Months in the axel shaft goes. They said it is under warranty but I have to take it to THEIR garage. Get there and they tell me its not covered since they can't replace individual parts, they must replace the whole thing. I BOUGHT THIS SERVICE SPECIFICALLY TO PROTECT AGAINST THIS TYPE OF EXPENSIVE REPAIR. Do not buy the extra warranty. This company should NOT be in business.

Seems like they send clients to useless side shops and gets the shop to give a higher estimate than should be. so the client ends up paying the real bill. thinking a protect is paying for it. useless and customer service with attitude doesn't like to listen . instead tries to convince you that you are having a bigger problem than you really are. after getting off the phone with them just now and I am raging inside. I wouldn't be surprised if they gave themselves good ratings here to attract and scam more customers. be can don't see how anyone that had dealt with the could have in the least bit satisfied.

Honestly, I didn't think warranties really helped that much but I got this "Luxury Plus" plan from my dealer I guess its a new plan they started where it covered all the major components of your car even if they aren't fully broken yet. I had a bad engine and they repaired it, I think my final bill was $220 which is absolutely nuts. A few years ago when I had engine problem I paid thousands. This is by far the best thing I have ever invested in and I wont ever have a car without a warranty again.

Be very careful people. This company takes you money, but will try to find any excuse possible not to pay for repairs. Most of the 5 star comments here, are WRITTEN BY A PROTECT! Can you believe that!? Especially KELLY. I have reported this company, the assured me they have had more complaints about A Protect and will send someone for inspection. Goodbye scamming A protect.

When I called A-Protect Warranty Corp. to activate the warranty for the vehicles that I purchased I had no idea what the availability of extra warranty or coverage was available to me with a very reasonable prices. I appreciate this being brought to my attention from a representative that you feel comfortable speaking with, that has a pleasant personality with customers. It actually felt good that there is a company out there that really cares about their clients, they are not there just about making money.

1) When you purchase, the sales said it is easy to claim, just need to maintain regularly oil change, and the sales said no need to inspect the car to activate the insurance (Make the customer feel nice and easy, but if the company didn't inspect your car, they will assume your car's problem that is a fraud claim, it is a problem before your start to buy the warranty. The company refuse to talk about that's their problem not to inspect the car). ------------------------ Sales not honest 2) When you make a claim, you find out ALWAYS need to wait for their claim officer (Kelly, always the same person, such a small company) to call back, you never can talk with them right away, after they refuse my claim, they even never call me back, (I am still their customer, my car still under 3 years warranty). ------------------------------------------------- Not good customer service 3) I live in Markham, they ask me to drive to Etobicoke an auto shop (When they sell the service, they said they have few auto shops partner in Markham, Now they said all the auto shop in Markham is so busy, I need to go to Etobicoke for quick service, but when I arrive that auto shop in Etobicoke, they are very busy, they sounds like don't even care about the business from A-Protect. Anyways, this auto shop ended up reply A-Protect it will take a few hours to check my car, then they refuse to even check my car (I remember the mechanic said "time is money" to me, when I pick up my car) but they hold my car one week (I have to call back few times to A protect to find out this result) ------------- No good relationship with their auto shop partners && No communication with the auto shop after I drop in the car 4) They refused my claim, of course I ask for refund, if I buy a warranty is not able to claim, it is useless. I also complaint to BBB.org, they never talk about refund or not, or any other solution. 5) Their trick is not come to inspect your car, then blame your car is high oil assumption car, to refuse your claim. COME ON, we are buying a used car warranty, 90% used car is high oil assumption, how much is high oil assumption means? I am not a technician, and they don't come to inspect the car. I am here to share with everyone who want to buy their warranty, DON'T BUY IT, YOU WILL REGRET!!!!

My car broke down and I called right away. From the first moment I was impressed with the young lady I dealt with. I explained to her that I was just getting over an illness that had left me with some cognition issues. She was very empathetic and took her time to explain the whole process more than once. She then emailed me all the info I needed. The shop toj auto was great..friendly and honest. Thank you to all of you for the time and effort.

一年前我成为AP的顾客,我的AP#113627 两个星期前 我的大众捷达引擎出现问题 检查出来是cylinder head gasket坏了 我查了一下网站 我买的是gold计划 这个故障在保修范围内 这段时间我打了很多次他们客服电话 永远都是问我要AP#然后就再不回复我了 后来我很生气 打电话催他们让他们给我一个确定的维修时间 客服竟然反问我为什么不直接联系修理厂 我当时就无奈了 这个公司其实就是个中介 只是帮你联系修理厂而已 或许我对他们来说并不是重要的客人 快两个星期了 我的车仍然在修理厂放着 后来我自己联系修理厂 我告诉修理厂如果我的车修理费在保修以后超过2000就不修了 修理厂联系AP以后回复我说那就把车拖走吧 所以 在此告诫大家 慎重选择保修公司 不然吃亏的永远是顾客

I bought a Buick Century from a local car dealer. He threw in a basic warranty with the sell of the car. I wanted something that would cover more items so I bought the extra warranty on top. My head gasket had failed. The warranty company fixed it and I was surprised how easy it was to do a claim. They paid for everything except some fluids, I was so happy that the warranty was really worth the money I spent on it.
