The tariffs that are charged by Bristol Energy, in my mind, are very competitive. My advice to Bristol Energy are to continue doing more of the same. Thank you.

Pity they havn't met my request for financial compensation for harassment by them. Pity they didn't acknowledge the proof I provided of my payments. Pity they havn't told me amd Trustpilot reders how it has been 'resolved'. Pity they havn't told their debt collection thugs to stop harassing me, as they did again yesterday. What a pity I now agree with other reviews of this company - these people are liars and crooks! Looking forward to lodging my complaint against them with Ofgen. DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE OF GOING ANYWHERE NEAR THEM AND THEIR PARENT COMPANY, TOGETHER ENERGY.

United Kingdom | 09 November 2021Aaargh! I'm not sure how much more of this company I can take! So my account showed £1500 credit in August and it was agreed I'd get £1200 back within 10 days. On the 10th day I was told there was a problem with the account and I needed to submit meter readings- again. I did and it took about 6 weeks for them to bill me. It was then agreed an amount I would get back within 10 days. After this time, I was told there was a problem with my account and I needed to submit meter readings- yes thats right, again. It then took a further two weeks for them to say they are having trouble billing me. I'm going round in circles (for over 3 months now) whilst they sit on my money!!! I'm livid and noone seems to be able to sort the problem out for me.

United Kingdom | 09 November 2021Left Bristol Energy n April, I had £4.02 to be refunded not a lot of money but my money after several emails and a couple of replies 6 , yes 6 month's later they told me they had paid into my account £4.02 and £30 payment in way of an opology In July , guess what they hadn't!! Had to proove to them that they hadn't. So cut a very long story short a few days ago I received the £30 but no £4.02 ,7 month's and still not right I give up a terrible company.☹️

United Kingdom | 08 November 2021I have been trying to close my elderly mother-in-law's account and obtain a refund for her since early August. No replies to emails. Lots of promises of action on the phone (when you can finally get through) which are then contradicted the next time you chase and clearly they're not progressing anything. Very good at coming up with excuses, though. Tried calling again today - their menu selection isn't working properly, so had to try three times before I got onto the correct track. About 15 minutes to get through to someone (which wasn't bad, based on previous experience) and after going through the details again I was cut off. When I phoned back, the message had changed to something about reduced opening hours, so they were no longer taking calls. My sympathies to anyone who has been forcibly transferred to this company.

United Kingdom | 08 November 2021Having an awful experience with Bristol Energy. I have been trying to have a problem rectified but cannot get any kind of contact from their customer services. I have sent multiple emails to recieve no responses, and I have spent all day on hold or awaiting a call back, only for my phone to ring for half a second and then stop, giving me no time to answer. Update: The advice I got after finally getting through to speak to someone on the phone (after being hung up on) was to contact the customer support email address, which I have done again. It has now been 2 days I am still awaiting a response.

United Kingdom | 05 November 2021This supplier , is extremely bully - I had them as my supplier about 4 years ago, then I changed supplier, and as far as I know I don’t owe them nothing, ..but suddenly nowadays they keep sending me bills some outstanding bill that they are putting on me , they send threats and harassing letters . Please people , stay away from this bully supplier!! They horrible

I was actually promised they would sort out and refund a Direct Debit they took 4 weeks after I switched. The words were 'We will ring you back in 10-20 minutes'. That was 3 weeks ago. Despite thier assurances in the phone message, its pretty clear all is not well with this company.

United Kingdom | 05 November 2021Sold a property a month ago. Sent final gas meter reading to Bristol energy, requested a final bill and a refund of money in credit. Nothing. Now I'm getting requests for meter reading as if I still owned the property. Unable to get through to them by phone and no reply to emails. Looking at other reviews, I'm not the only one.

United Kingdom | 05 November 2021After asking for my credit to be refunded for the last eight weeks I got an email on the 25/10/21 saying I would be getting a refund. Three days later I got an email increasing my direct debit payments. I'm still waiting to get my credit money back from BE. No reply to email as usual. I note Together Energy has failed to make its ROC payment to the regulator. I find it offensive that BE continue to say on their website that accounts and customer money is safe with them. Edit 5/11/21 Enough! Still nothing from BE. I first asked for my credit to be refunded in September. It looks like my money has been stolen by BE. For all the good it might do at BE I have submitted an official complaint as the first step in trying to get some redress. Edit 8/11/21 Eight weeks is the correct timescale for a refund? I wasn't advised of this. Anyway, the formal complaint now goes beyond this. Edit 10/11/21 I received some money into my account from Together Energy (i.e. BE) today, but it was a partial refund only, not the total money I am owed by them in credit. In addition to increasing the direct debit on the same contract to add further to the credit I am owed by BE. Therefore, the title of this review still applies.

The yearly contract can be cancelled at any time without any cost. Providing a meter reading is very easy, which can be provided via app or telephone.

United Kingdom | 04 November 2021Have been a customer of this company for some years. Customer service is now the pits forcing me to swap to another supplier. Trying to get a refund of a large amount of money they owe me from taking massive over payments is like trying to get blood out of a stone.
