New Zealand | 22 January 2024Their website/system is pretty glitchy: - Errors when trying to pay - Receiving emails that say all my payments failed although one did go through - Receiving follow-up emails later saying I need to pay when I have already Their UX is pretty bad: - Hard to find things (eg. how to repay for an order that wasn't paid for) - Turns out only the primary email receives email communication even though there is a secondary email and you might assume that email receives communication too? - Getting an email saying the recurring payment failed that doesn't tell you when it will be deactivated, and also not receiving a follow-up email saying the domain has been deactivated. Surprisingly, they do seem to welcome feedback (feedback channel for feature requests, feedback after each chat, asking me to do a review on Trustpilot), although I'm not convinced they do anything with it. That would all be tolerable if their customer support was polite. I found I had to talk to customer support four different times, spending about 2 hours just to renew a domain and clarify how their system actually works. While the customer support is responsive, they were overall quite rude and never apologised for their system being confusing / broken and wasting time. I wouldn't recommend.
