We visit the Renfrew shop at least twice a week, stocks can vary from visit to visit, but that’s to be expected really. Some very good bargains and not just on shirt expiry date goods. Staff are always friendly and helpful. It’s always worth a visit

Only been a handful of times, not bought much but some great bargains if you get there at the correct time! Employees nice to talk to and always full of spirit Visited the Middleton Manchester store and the Barnsley store. Lovely team at both and stores always kept tidy!

Bit of a strange place. I joined months ago and went today to collect my card. The staff member was friendly but said they’ve run out of cards but can let me use the store “once” until they come back in stock. Not a huge variety, I guess it’s just the luck of the draw, I get that this is the whole point. Bought some steaks, pies ketchup, and some fresh fruit and veg. Staff were friendly but there’s definitely an issue with prices. The couple in front had been over charged as was I on three items. Funnily enough all these “errors” were in the stores favour. Not sure whether I’ll bother going back to pick up my membership card.

Middleton M24 site. Fresh produce that looks like it has been in a car crash ! - Dry goods from what I seen were so so. Some great value loo rolls and amazing price Fever Tree tonic with June 2023 BFE date...Lots of items not individually priced and so I purchased at a cost that was displayed on the shelf. It took some time to get through checkout the cashier needed to make ammendments to most items and it it took her ages. I was not unable to see cost on the screen....once home and checked receipt. The total cost was more that I was expecting however overall a good price for what I had paid ....2nd visit. Let me tell you I was on my toes. I challenged the same cashier (she resembles Anna Karen.) who shepisly retracted some items that transpired to be cheaper -"it must be this till" she stated . And so caveat emptor ......My opion Company Shop is either an organisational rip off !!! OR maybe colleages here are on the fiddle !!. That said I will be back, after all a life is not worth living out loo rolls and fever tree !

Been there lot times if you want save money thats place to go

Visited middleton store today. Gammon joints were advertised at 3.50 but at the till they charged 7.50, when queried the bar codes said 350 but the product said 750. Bar codes and advertisement were wrong, the product had a few days left till expired date, but they were charging full retail price. When management were called they still said to pay 7.50! False advertising, clear breach! Check your till receipts people.. scamming

I recently visited the company shop and only bought a select few items but the ready meal which I bought had be spending the best part of that night on the toilet passing brown water! I wouldn't go out of my way to visit the store because most of the cheaper stock is on its final day of shelf life and whatever isn't is just as cheap elsewhere. Not what I was expecting unfortunately.

Having been shopping in a few different company shop in the west midland and east midland .we can confidently say some of the permanent staff at the Yardley branch are awkward and rude. I am unsure if this just to do with their personality/management strategy or them treating us differently due to our ethnic minority.

Prices have crept up to same price as normal supermarkets, only the sell by/use by dates are way shorter. Fruit n veg are more expensive than supermarket, again they have to used straight away.

Been twice now and both times disappointed, it's really not worth it. Things still seem expensive considering they're use by that day, can buy cheaper in the actual shops. Half of the store is taken up by baskets full of random singular things that clearly no-one wants and two aisles full of mystery bottles of wine. I'm vegetarian but even if I wasn't I would steer clear of the repackaged fresh meat. Prices are not clear on lots of items. Other customers incredibly rude and will crowd you, shove you and lean over you with not a single care, not a single mask worn. Items I'd bought were basically thrown at me at the till and the next person's items were coming through before I'd even had chance to pick mine up. I'm not going to be coming back again.

I have just been reading through all the reviews, and I do agree prices have gradually crept up, but so has inflation, you can still fill a shopping Trolley for less than a £100 try that in another Supermarket as one review suggested.

Oliver at your South Yardley Birmingham store has been an absolute diamond in customer service going above and beyond the call of duty. Kindly, friendly and very helpful, this guy should get an award or better still a good payrise! Thankyou very much for a great shopping experience Oliver and keep it up.

I've been going to the Company Shop for years and originally it was full of bargains with all the food being either M&S or Waitrose etc... I could fill my American style fridge freezer for about £50 with whole chickens, cooked meats, good quality ready meals, jars of sauces, biscuits, fruits and veg. I'd noticed over the last couple of years the prices have rocketed and there were less of the good brand foods for sale. I paid a visit in December hoping to gets some Christmas nibbles but was so disappointed. The items are no cheaper/dearer then the supermarket price and the brands changed to ones I'd never heard of. I feel the shop has got greedy and lost sight of passing these savings on to the NHS and emergency services. Having read the other reviews before writing this one I also agree that some of the staff are probably the most unfriendly of any supermarket I have visited. Sadly I definitely won't be visiting the store again as I honestly don't see the point.

The store at WesterHailes, Edinburgh. Keep really clean, staff are lovely and always very helpful. Get great bargains. Always worth a visit.

Washington store now open to anyone,you can see the difference in store people on a mission,rude and will not move out of the way grab at things staff have and reach straight in front of you time to let only the people it was intended for to go out of control now.

Signed up for the Mcr store which is grimey and dirty. Staff extremely rude. Store unsafe. Many items same price or more expensive than Aldi /Lidl/ M&S even when the products come from these shops. I wouldnt trust the repackaged fresh meats. Pricing on the shelves is unclear and does not match what you are charged at the tills.

Leicester store I pop in most weekends. Not a problem with the food it’s the tills. Doesn’t matter if there are 2 people or 200 in the store… they only ever have 2 tills open. Staff see the long queues and don’t open any of the other 6 closed tills. So frustrating

South Yardley opened today (2/12/21) and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the shop. In particular, the staff were most helpful and pleasant and went out of their way to help. Some of my purchases were real bargains, and that included notable brands. I will be back very soon.

Visited Dudley store today with family who are also members. Staff were very rude and got stopped twice for having more than item. When explained have more than one membership he demanded to see the cards. Good bargains but staff are driving customers away!

Things are constantly incorrectly priced when you go through the checkouts. Staff are rude and unhelpful, absolutely vile place.
