Everything was good! Highly recommend

Pickup and drop off was easy and convenient, with after hours option available. Car rental price was very reasonable. Had a great time in Australia with the little Hyundai I rented. The reason for the 4 stars is one star off for the windscreen wipers. They were very old and ineffective, past needing to be replaced. In a couple downpours it became very dangerous to operate the vehicle and I had to pull off the road and lose time. Had they been in good working order, I would not have been placed in danger. It was very frustrating.

I was very pleased with the service from Sunset Rent a Car at Mooloolaba. The car was a Hyundai Accent automatic with about 50,000 km on the clock. It performed to my expectations. Being new to the area, we were advised about places to visit.

Our car rental experience was quick and easy. The staff were fantastic and told us everything we needed to know as well as giving us some other places to visit near where we were going. No hidden costs. Best car rental experience ever had. Highly recommend them!!

Wow! The best rental car experience yet! We seasoned Canadians/ aka aging baby boomers recently hired a car from Mooloolaba, Au. x 10 days and we want share our positive experience! After abandoning a car deal last minute due to pure frustration with one of the "big players" in the car rental world, we stumbled onto this local car hire business with excellent reviews. Enter...the distinguished "Andrew" (working the office/front desk) at Sunset Car rental in Mooloolaba. Andrew was just what we needed to seal-a-deal; easy going, friendly, super patient and knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions thoroughly, especially around that dang international insurance conundrum "third party liability" that is most often not covered/nor understood for us Canadians traveling overseas...SOLD! Car was excellent; near brand new and good value. Andrew was excellent; (not "brand new" :) offered us a great product and exceptional customer service! If you're touring Queensland, we highly recommend stopping in to Mooloolaba, the sunsets, beaches and people are awesome! And seriously, if you wish to hire a car, look no further. The car was well presented and of the type ordered it was personally delivered and collected exactly as arranged. Throughout the whole process communication was friendly and efficient.

Sunset Rent a Car provides value for money car rental services. Collection and return of car was straightforward. The representative was friendly, accommodating and service oriented. He went the extra mile by handling over the car early as our flight arrived before schedule.
