The trip was great. Although we saw a lot, it seemed like we needed more time during some stops. Tour guide Michael is the best.

My experience with Explorica/World Strides is beyond amazing. I have been a tour director in the US for over 20 years and have taken groups all around the world and I find that Explorica does the best at itineraries, working to include all suggestions when possible, meals and transportation, not to forget the wonderful customer service offered.

We were in OHare airport for three days and lost ALL tours, sightseeing and experiences in Berlin. Our group was split up and sent all over Western and Eastern Europe before coming together two days later. Very disappointing for son’s first experience in Europe and for his whole class, teachers and chaperones.

My experience was great because it was organized and the communication was great.

The timing of each event made the transition from one activity to another seamless. We enjoyed all of our food options and loved our driver/guide. Great trip!

Our guide, Maureen, was great along with our driver Terry. They interacted with our group very well. They helped in any way needed. They shared local information, stories and laughs. Got us whatever we needed, whenever we needed it. Accommodated us whenever they could. We could consider them as friends by the end of the trip. I don't think we could ask for better guides!

This was a most horrific, stressful experience once World Strides collected our money. Requests were not honored. We had no tour guide, we were at a hotel that took up to 2 hours to get into Central London. The meals were disgusting- all at Greene King pubs. We requested theatre tickets months in advance and had the worst seats in the theater with obstructed view seats. I requested other theater tickets and had to purchase them directly from the group sales department from the respective theaters as World Strides did nothing. We had no tour guide throughout- just a tour director, whose job was to get us from point A to point B and take care of daily logistics. The day we did have a local tour guide, she "forgot" her microphone on the bus, so the tour fell apart as nobody could hear her. In all, a horrific, stressful experience with this company. I managed to make lemonade out of lemons and the group did enjoy the trip, recognizing that the glitches had nothing to do with me, but with World Strides. Never again.

Our trip was amazing and was everything we wanted. Maureen, our tour director, did everything possible to make it a wonderful experience. She was organized, efficient, fun and had our interests at heart. Terry, our bus driver, was very good as well. He too did everything possible to make it a memorable trip. The meals were all very good and we enjoyed that they were ordered ahead which was very efficient. We were impressed with Explorica and would love to travel with them again.

Our son really enjoyed his trip to DC. The itinerary was filled with great tours and he learned so much. The hotel and transportation coaches were good. He would have liked a little more unstructured time each day,but other than that gives his experience a thumbs up.

This trip was really great! I enjoyed it a lot, and I think it was very well done. All of the locations we went to were great, food was picked out well, and I liked the structure of everything. We saw a lot of amazing things, and I’m forever grateful I got to go on this trip. I %100 recommend! The reason I give 4 stars and not 5 is because there was almost no down time. I don’t know if this is just for me, but I would’ve enjoyed the trip even more if it was over the course of more than 4 days. I think if we had left Monday or Tuesday, I’d be able to enjoy everything we did thoroughly. Everything felt like it was packed into these days so tightly, there was no room for rest. But, even with that said, I loved the trip and I’m so happy I got to go! I recommend this to anyone who’s interested in social studies, or just how the country grew into what it is now. I learned a lot, along with having a great time.

This experience was well planned, the guides were very knowledgeable, our drivers were amazing, and we the full experience was very memorable!

Maureen Denis was an excellent guide. She was so nice, kind and very helpful.

My son had a blast. He loved being independent and hanging with his friends. Yet he felt safe. He was exhausted but excited over all the sightseeing. Best was the boat ride.

Once again, a fabulous trip.

This trip was very well organized and very enjoyable. One of the top reasons it was an enjoyable trip is our tour guide Adam Langley!! He was awesome! Very knowledgeable and friendly.

Our guides made the experience great. They were knowledgeable, professional and fun! Our coordinator helped us every step of the way. We would not have been able to do it on our own. We missed the Blarney Stone due to not enough time at the castle.

Our guides and coordinator were great. On schedule and very professional . Possibly schedule a little more down time. Especially mornings and evenings for us older folks
