Spacemaker Bedrooms Ltd picked up the pieces after another well-known supplier let me down. They have been absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The team at thire head office, the surveyor and the fitter, I cannot praise them highly enough, don't go anywhere else, they're the best!

I had some study furniture fitted by Spacemaker about a year ago, at a cost of > £6,000. The laminate has started separating from the front edge of the desk after just this short period of time. I've emailed Spacemaker 3 times to ask for advice on repairing it, but haven't even had the courtesy of a reply to any of my emails. Very disappointing. Update: Following this review I was contacted by Spacemaker. They sent a fitter out to take a look at the problem. He tried a fix using mastic, and said that if it didn't resolve the problem the whole desktop would need to be replaced. The fix started to unravel after a week (Spacemaker contacted me to check on it), so I booked in an appointment to have the desktop replaced. However, as this would have involved me clearing ALOT of equipment out of my study again I decided to try an alternative contact adhesive to re-attach the laminate to the edge of the desk. So far it still seems to be holding out (after 3 weeks), so I cancelled the desktop replacement. Fingers crossed....

Excellent - product, value, integrity, service and experience. I purchased two sets of designs/installations in 2016 after considering many companies. From the initial consultation, design/adjustments, technical knowledge/advice, lead times, payment options and the skill/speed/cleanliness of the installers - all components were fantastic. There were no typical sales gimmicks or pressures which I found refreshing and reassuring. I trusted Spacemaker as a result which led me to purchasing three new designs/installations in May 2022 for a new build property (and due to the fact that my 2016 wardrobes still looked brand new (!)). Spacemaker is an outstanding company with first class products, equally impressive customer care ethos and value for money. I would highly recommend Spacemaker without hesitation.

We are delighted with our new fitted wardrobes and dressing table. Everyone we have met or spoken to on the phone have been really helpful and very courteous. The service has been amazingly efficient and we are very pleased with the high quality of the furniture.

Our wardrobes and drawers were installed 2 years ago and at the time, we were assure these were premium and would be installed properly. We paid over £2000 for these wardrobes and drawers. The drawers have completely come apart, with screws falling out. It's now unsafe to use and really disappointing. Space maker customer services have been unresponsive so even harder to get it repaired. Not great considering promised made to get us to buy from them

Very satisfied with space maker and the service provided. From the first point of contact to the installation of the fitted wardrobes (done today) was very good and am more than happy with the final outcome. We need another room fitted with wardrobes and will certainly be using space maker again.

So good... ...where to begin. The initial meeting is where Spacemaker get a chance to see the building space in your house and to work with the client (ie: us) to obtain the best solution for fitting and cost. It is also a really good time for the client to figure out if they like the Spacemaker range and the approach they take. At the time we started our build we met four different providers of custom built furniture for the work we wanted on the top floor of our house. We had used Spacemaker some ten years previously to build a bedroom but again a decade later, Spacemaker still stood head and shoulders above the other three we contacted. Our house is an extended chalet bungalow which adds significant challenges due to the number of sloped ceilings (skeilings) on the upper floor. These make any kind of design difficult (Spacemaker would probably say "interesting"). Roger helped us figure out what would work best, given what we wanted to achieve. The balance struck was perfect for us. Allowing for COVID the interval between design and build took time, but we simply built that delay into the project so we could deal with moving radiators, extending the ring final circuits in the house along with painting and decorating. The end result is stunning - and something that comes down to good tradesmen who are punctual, friendly, tidy and very skilled. You can walk away and just let them do their work. How would I summarise Spacemaker? I think I'd use the phrase well executed, well designed with a really good range of beautiful finishes and with excellent communications from the start. It's difficult to articulate into a short snappy phrase... but "so good" captures our experience. This is our second master bedroom design with Spacemaker. I can heartily recommend you explore their services.

Excellent! Over the years we've had 3 Spacemaker bedrooms fitted. We,had a problem with the laminates peeling in one of the bedrooms but the material was discontinued. With just 3 months to go on the 10 year warranty not only did they honour the warranty but they replaced all the doors and facia. I can't explain how happy I am with their workmanship and quality of the products and the warranty.

My first experience with Spacemaker was back in 2012 having three bedrooms fitted. I moved out of that property in 2020 and the buyer thought they were recently installed they still looked so good. With no hesitation in my new property six weeks ago had a dressing room fitted and this week an office. Superb service from start to finish with Claire in installations efficient service and the fitter Gary was polite and left everything clean and tidy.

So disappointed with the customer service of Spacemaker. The initial design was brilliant, as was Bob who came to the property as initial contact. Everything after that was hugely disappointing. They cancelled the installation with less than 7 days notice owing to not having the right parts. After calling they reluctantly agreed to installing carcasses so the carpet could at least be fitted on schedule. However, still no completion date offered. Customer service responses have been slow and patronising. Even though I’ve incurred further cost owing to the delay with booking time off work/builders cost, they resolutely refuse any sort of compensation for this so I’m out of pocket without a completion date for the work. Such a shame as design was great but awful company to buy from and wish I’d gone elsewhere.
