I've been a customer for about 18 months - 2 years starting with cloth nappies and then discovering the amazing toys. Customer service has always been fantastic with me, very quick to respond, polite etc I did receive a refund on part of my Christmas club order for out of stock items but I also received an apology too which I would never receive elsewhere. I think this company does amazingly well to say it is such a small company and they have to fulfil so many orders on a daily basis and with staff on maternity as well as some high up staff grieving I think a few errors aren't that bad in my honest opinion. I've spent an awful lot of money buying toys, nappies and slings from Babame and I won't hesitate to spend more, I certainly won't be shopping elsewhere anytime soon. To the staff at Babame if you're reading this then please know that my children and I love you and want you to never change because after reading some of the negative reviews on here I really hope they don't change you.

Even you bought a sling a year ago they are always on hand to help with fit checks ... The ethical quality of the toys and items mean you don't have to worry ... Great quality store and online service and the Facebook to go with it offers a great space for feedback on other customers best purchases ... And a place to find the crazy deals which are the best about 😜

Always going above and beyond to make the customer more than happy. If any off their items arrive less than satisfactory they make such an effort to amend the issue it's incredible. I've never come across a shop that values their customers quite like babame does. This is the only place I come to shop for wooden and traditional toys for my little people

I had a Christmas club set up with them and emailed in on 2 or 3 separate occasions to make changes or query things, I always got a response quickly and staff were very helpful. I love the range of toys they stock and will certainly be purchasing many more things in the future.

United Kingdom | 30 December 2016I have been a customer for little over a year and have had nothing but excellent service with babame.com I will admit to having had a few issues with a couple of orders but they were resolved quickly and I was satisfied with the outcome. I have had some great bargains from this site and would recommend them to others. They have enabled me to buy my kids toys that I wouldn't have been able to afford without the great deals they have. Great atmosphere when you go into the shop and staff are very friendly. I love that they have lots of toys sitting out so kids can have a play while you have a look around. Cannot recommend this shop enough to people from my experience. Delivery has always been very quick and reliable for me.

United Kingdom | 30 December 2016Damaged items, unreasonable delays claiming it was 'royal mail', unhelpful customer service, also had cheeky responses when I had issues with the returns label they sent (the post office said it was underpaid for the size of the parcel) basically telling me the post office were wrong and they would get them retrained. I also had an email saying I had underpaid and demanding more money after I had received items due to them overlooking a discount that was not applicable. I would NEVER EVER shop here again.

Ireland | 28 December 2016Ordered kitchen etc Sept paid in full..when queried non receipt they were waiting on shipment even though they advertised as in at stock, they never communicated this to me.. No follow up.. It's one thing after another with them I had joined their Facebook groups.. Constant message put on Group how busy they are.. Don't email .don't contact them until 14 days after dispatch.. Don't ADD to their work loads.. Bit hard when they don't tell you items you ordered weren't in stock in first place they don't even Tell you it's dispatched.. Finally turned up Nov 2016..1/3 Of order missing eventually got after they started wasn't ordered even though own system shows orders and amount paid And when you do have queries about missing items etc.. Your membership will be deleted .!! Imagine a company that deletes customers who raise queries .just deleted.. They never apologize for their errors Of which there were many.. Not even a 1 liner They have no time to respond to queries... Phone calls ..e mails But yet have all the time in the world to review all their group posts.. Delete posts and remove and delete their customers Unbelievable I've never come across a company like it before.... And if anything comes broken.. Don't dare contact customer service.. No you get more posts about all their products owners.. And you contact them yourself... There far too busy to help their customers..help yourself... I'm glad they can afford to delete so many of their loyal customer base simply cause a problem happens.. Surely this is a time for it to prove their worth.. After all there happy to take your money upfront.. Disappointed after spending large amounts Of money with them ... As for communication Customer service Caring for customers What's that I'd recommend stay clear

Cyprus | 26 December 2016discusting customer service, poor poor poor would never buy from them ever again! ordered presents for xmas well in advance and didnt recieve so i took to facebook to ask where my items was, after around 5 attemps with no answer i asked again. THIS TIME i was then blocked and deleted from the facebook page and ignored! there is another site similar to this on that have FABULOUS customer service and would advise everyone to STAY CLEAR of this store !

Ireland | 23 December 2016By far the worst company that I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with, & I am a frequent online shopper. I first came across Baba me / Fluff Heaven at the beginning of Nov. I was sucked in by their Facebook group & all of the glowing reports there. THEIR FACEBOOK GROUP IS ALL A SHAM! Any comment that is not glowing about Baba me is deleted!!! Doesn't have to be a complaint. The slightest thing, it's deleted by the admins as soon as it's spotted. Any customer that has been treated badly by Baba me, of which there are many, are deleted from the group, & their loyalty points turned to zero for saying that they were unhappy. These would not be small complaints, they could range from orders not received, orders taking MONTHS to arrive, orders arriving missing items or damaged (packaging is atrocious). Baba me's way of 'resolving' these issues is trying to make it impossible for these mistreated customers to complain?! In the this day and age, the mind just boggles that these practices take place! This really sums up Baba me's customer service: Treating customers like nuisances Don't email Don't ask customer service queries Don't post issues Don't dare email more than once On the busiest week of the year for toys, Baba me shut off their phones & their live chat service. Who else would do this??! Mountains of customer stressing, waiting on Santa toys that were ordered well in advance, & no way of contacting the company to find out what is happening. The pits!!! Oh & if there is anything wrong with anything you've ordered, Baba me give you the email address of the manufacturing company for you to take it up with them directly!!! They won't sort it out for you themselves!!! Have you ever heard the like?! Imagine going to any other company & being told this, just would not happen. The first 2 orders that I placed with Baba me, there was an item missing from each. I waited a long time to receive both orders, but I received a refund for the missing items, & it was well before Christmas so I let it go. The drama over the last order that I placed really upset me, my order that I placed on Dec 4th. They are obviously impossible to get through to. But when you do email them they won't deal with a query unless it's been 10 days or more since order was 'dispatched'. Received dispatch email Dec 5th, contacted them for the first time on Dec 15th about it. Because of constant pestering from me, I was told on the 17th that order was never even sent, my items weren't in stock anymore, so they were sending me other items instead?! And I could send them back if I want? They're big, heavy wooden items so would cost a fortune to send back, & I didn't even order them in the first place!! Luckily another company came to my rescue. But if I hadn't pestered Baba me I would still be waiting for my order to arrive, that had been paid for, but nobody felt it was important to tell me wasn't coming. I had €10 worth of baba me loyalty points built up. Baba me deducted €7.50 of these points from me for complaining. Can you imagine Boots or Debenhams or any other company that uses a points system doing that??!! It goes without saying that I would never purchase from this disgusting company ever again. But the fact that they would do this totally sums up what they think of their customers & the level of respect that they have for them.

United Kingdom | 23 December 2016I don't even know where to start with how bad babame.com is... 1) Very slow to dispatch orders. They will always have an excuse, but it's an ongoing, worsening issue. 2) Sent me a broken item. A full month later, still not resolved. They take forever to reply to emails and when they do reply it doesn't tell you what they're going to do to resolve your problem. I've had to open a PayPal claim to resolve this, plenty of others have said the same. 3) Sent my mum the wrong item. She emailed in, never even got a reply. Tried phoning, nobody ever answered. So she's kept the more expensive thing she was sent. Some other poor person has probably received the cheap thing by mistake... 4) Dared to mention, politely, on their Facebook group that I was still waiting for my problem to be resolved, posts removed and deleted from the group. This is VERY common. They seem to spend a disproportionate amount of time deleting perfectly acceptable posts, replies and members from their Facebook page and group. You're only allowed to post there if you have a glowing review of how amazing they've been. Notice they've removed the ability for visitors to post on their page and have no ratings enabled. That should ring very loud alarm bells about just how many bad reviews they were getting... I saw this happening to others and was concerned but got drawn in by the discounts. Then it happened to me. Don't be fooled like I was! 5) Parcels all arrive with no packaging inside them whatsoever. Just large cardboard boxes with a few items placed inside them and nothing filling all the empty space. No wonder my item was broken. 6) Despite being fully aware of just how bad the situation is and how many unhappy customers they've got who haven't received many of their Christmas orders in time, they continue to churn out offer after offer and more and more mystery boxes. 7) They seem intent on compounding the situation even further rather than approaching it in a mature fashion with respect for those customers who they've misled and let down. There's been no apology and no holding their hands up and saying yes, we got it wrong this time, we're sorry. Instead, they anger us all even more by removing our posts, blocking us, ignoring emails, and making us feel like we have to resort to paypal. I've never had such a bad experience. Luckily, there are plenty of similar companies out there whose customer service is exemplary. There's no need to settle for these con artists! Wish I'd discovered that sooner. Oh and I should add, at least one of the 5* reviews on this page comes from someone who works there. Make of that what you will!

United Kingdom | 19 December 2016I've ordered a couple of times, always slow to dispatch but as I wasn't in a rush it wasn't a issue to start with. One order they sent a wrong item which took a month to sort out. My last order they were extremely slow to post it didn't dispatch for 13 days. No email to let me know when it eventually did get sent it out, tried to chase on their facebook chat page and they delete anything negative then deleted and blocked me from the group for asking. Drum up lots of business on their FB page with good deals when they are already drowning and behind on orders !

United Kingdom | 13 December 2016This company pose as an ethical retailer bit are anything but. They are completely unethical in their practises and have terrible customer service. A look at their Facebook page shows many others who have experienced terrible service from them as well. I placed a large order with them which was all just thrown together in a box with no care given to packaging. Subsequently an item arrived damaged. They're customer service is a long and painful process but one in which they kept reassuring me that I would get my item as they had plenty of stock. After 3 weeks I then received an email stating they had refunded the amount as they wouldn't be able to send it. No apology from them despite several reassurances. There are many other better retailers out there to spend your money with. Oh and some of the reviews on here are from their own staff, yet another reason not to trust them!

Deliveries have always been prompt and communication with them has been great, they are very good at advising when items have been dispatched. Nappies are what brought me to Baba Me but I've since discovered the range of items they sell, fantastic wooden toys that are hard to find on the high street. I've recommended Baba Me to my friends as a place for great value and high quality goods.
