United Kingdom | 14 November 2020Iv had a pipercross panel filter before in my e46 325 msport and I was pleased with it, I bought one for my vectra 1.8 sri and again it’s performance impressed me, iv done over 20000 miles in 12 months so I decided to replace it with a new one. Very good filter and at only £38 it’s well worth the money. Don’t bother with k&n they are rubbish.

United Kingdom | 18 September 2020This is one of those reviews which I don't really want to do but I have absolutely no choice but to give both companies involved a similar review. Here goes.. My car began to show an orange check engine warning light. This is a Mini Cooper but all repairs for Mini's are handled by the BMW dealership. I called Knights as they are the closest dealership to me and explained that this warning had appeared and the car is still in warranty, could you please book it in. They said yes but you are best calling Mini Assist first who will send someone to your driveway to check the car. I said great and working from home this was helpful. The guy came to check the car and could not find the fault with it so it needed to go into the dealer. He booked it in and Mini Assist sorted a courtesy car. This is great and I appreciate that this went smoothly. A couple of days later, a text arrived explaining the repairs that had taken place and any that needed to be authorised. I looked at the list and there was a large £600+ repair bill that had been quoted to fix an issue with the air mass sensor. Why £600 for £100 sensor you may ask that could be installed by a unqualified wally such as myself? This is extortionate and should have been a warranty repair however, the car has been fitted with a Pipercross panel filter that says it does NOT void the warranty of the car at all. This is not true as this has voided the warranty of this particular repair. Now I'm in a situation of proving who is in the wrong as neither Pipercross or BMW will admit liability. I have emailed both companies and trading standards who are also useless and it is impossible to determine who is wrong. My car will have to be fixed elsewhere as I'm not paying that sort of money. My overall advice, stay away from BMW/Mini cars and stay away from Pipercross as you will be abandoned by both companies should anything go wrong with your car.

United Kingdom | 16 September 2020Poor service I purchased an air filter 3 weeks ago, nothing on their site to say that there was any delays in shipping 2 days later I get an email to say that it would take 10-14 days before it will be delivered, I then phoned on the 14th day for them to tell me it was going to be with me in another 7 days, well I phoned on the 7th day and they told me it was going to be another 3 weeks! AVOID LIKE COVID!

United Kingdom | 09 July 2020I bought a Pipercross drop in air filter for my CLK320 back in 2012. Unfortunately it split and sagged after only a few thousand miles. I spoke to Barry at Pipercross UK in May 2020 not really expecting much to be done about it, sent some photos and lo & behold Barry ordered a replacement filter free of charge under their lifetime warranty. I was very pleasantly surprised! Great company and great customer service from Barry. Many thanks to all at Pipercross for honouring your product warranty even after 8 years.

United Kingdom | 24 June 2020Shame about the service. Ordered filter on 28 May, arrived on 24 June. Was only dispatched day after I opened a PayPal case and then delivery next day. Chased up several times In the interim but had no response. Product itself looks ok, good packaging and fit well in my Mk7.5 Golf. Don’t know about performance or durability yet as just fit it. 3 stars felt about right albeit being kind... Update, filter been in car for over a month now, car feels/ sounds very slightly different/ better. No complaints. Further update; now about 9/10 months after installing the filter I took it out to clean it and it’s starting to fall apart. The foam has come away from the rubber surround! Dropped a Star!
