Had to purchase an new LED floodlight as the one of four that I bought from the LED hut just over 2 years ago had failed, while within it's 3 year guarantee. It would appear that the LED Hut is under new ownership so the guarantee was not honoured. A 15% discount on the replacement product was offered though. Currently the other 3 floodlights are still working well but only time will tell. Much easier and cheaper if you could just replace the lamp!

Just purchased 40 G9 capsule LED bulbs to replace 35W Halogen bulbs. These bulbs are supposed to replace 20W halogen; the LEDs being 4000K and 200 lumens. How on earth a 2W LED bulb can replace halogen is beyond me. These bulbs are seriously bright, infact, so bright that they hurt my eyes when I look directly at them. My wife loves a 'chandelier' type light fitting and I hate it! It uses 10 x 35W halogen capsule bulbs and costs a fortune to run. Now that I have replaced the 10 bulbs with these G9 LEDs, I no longer 'worry' about the cost. Be warned; these small LEDs are seriously bright, emitting white light. How long will they last? Absolutely no idea. I'll let you know. Fantastic bit of kit and so cheap to buy and run; the future or what? They are dimmable but flicker very slightly on the lowest setting on my bedside lamps. Will I buy more? You bet.
