United States | 24 December 2020What a scam. We've insured a number of our shipments over the years with Shipsurance and in the rare instance we had a package damaged in transit where we needed to file a claim... they flat out denied it citing obscure terms "Items must not be shipped in the original manufacturers packaging or any packaging that alludes to the contents. (Exclusion E)". So indicating what the item could basically get your claim denied. We shipped it in a heavy duty box, the item insulated with inches of padding all around. Sellers beware of Shipsurance if you're considering them. Most sellers using Shipsurance on ShipStation or ShippingEasy will never need to file a claim and continue to pay for insurance coverage to protect against the rare instance they need to file a claim. They make this process incredibly difficult and once you finish submitting all the documentation it's highly likely they will deny this claim. Often times it makes more sense to "self-insure"... save the money would have spent paying them and absorb the loss as needed. This is a borderline scam. You're better off insuring your package with FedEx, UPS, USPS, or self-insuring it.

United States | 19 September 2020Absolutely worse service. My claim agent Emma was very rude and unprofessional. She did not provide proper answers in email, and when called on her extension, her reply was 'whatever'. Their terms and conditions are very vague. Their classification of objects insured is very unclear. They try very hard to decline the objects by putting them in uncovered categories. They classified any toys running on commonly used AA or AAA batteries under the category of electronics. These toys were cars and snap circuits and 3D pen suitable for 8 yr old.

United States | 04 June 2020Do not use this company. They are selling fraudulent insurance to companies like mine. I have given them 1,000's of dollars over the last 3 years and I had to file 2 claims. The only thing they offered was to tell me to shove it. They will use any excuse to deny your claim. We never received a dime on our 2 claims over a 3 year period. We are moving to u pic insurance, the only insurance company partnered with USPS.

United States | 08 May 2020This is the worst package insurance you can ever use. They are in no uncertain words scammers, thieves, shameless fraudsters. They require a lot of information that is very difficult to get in e-commerce. Also, they WILL DENY YOUR CLAIM IF YOUR COMPANY NAME IS ON THE BOX. Can you believe that? I couldn't believe it either. Company's put their names on boxes, obviously so these thieves use that as a reason to deny claims. BEWARE -- DO NOT USE THEM. And do not use GOSHIPPO.COM BECAUSE THAT'S THEIR INSURANCE OF CHOICE.
