Clear and helpful feedback. The recommendation on billing for 'own use' water aligns with changes we made this year to our financial management and reporting. Just disappointing that the information we were given that water companies were obliged to read meters was incorrect.

New Members in Jun 20 we have already benefit hugely from attending the webinars and from website content. However a recent request for some specific guidance on a First Tier Tribunal situation provided a real insight into the fantastic benefits of being a member. I can not recommend membership enough & would say it is vital for any self managed Block or Residents Assocation who want to understand their rights and obligations to their third party landlord. This won’t be the last huge thank you to the FPRA. Outstanding.

I cannot express enough how helpful the team at FPRA have been over the last few years since we joined them. They provide helpful, clear guidance when needed and the newsletters are always an interesting read. I am the Administrator in charge of 2 blocks of flats, in total 124 properties and I have found their service to be invaluable. Thank you team

Nick Roberts was excellent in fully responding to all my concerns regarding our freeholder who is attempting to force undue financial burdens on the leaseholders. For anyone having to manage the difficulties of leasehold property the FPRA offers an excellent service.

We received excellent service from the FPRA. Our query was dealt with promptly and the advice we received was very detailed and informative. It is reassuring to know that membership of the organisation gives good support.

Having recently started a resident' association and feeling a bit lost we recently asked for advice on a number of issues primarily about our service charge. We received the most comprehensive advice which very specifically related to our lease. It was much more detailed than anticipated. This has helped us decide our next steps with our managing agents. Very impressed.

FPRA has proved a very valuable resource for up-to-date information and clear, trustworthy advice. The membership fee is worth what we pay many times over.

very impressed with the swiftness of the response to my query regarding providing information to our Managing Agents in the form of an application "to be a Company Director" particularly as the information was originally given to Companies House when I was confirmed as a Director of our RTM Company

When my neighbours suggested combining to buy our freehold and take the management of our flats into our own hands we naturally sought to benefit from the experience of others who had already made that journey. Uniquely placed to provide exactly the support we needed was FPRA. In the early days we had a lot to learn and frequently called upon the advice and guidance made available by FPRA's experts and by our fellow members. Over the years we have gained in confidence and are now sometimes able to offer the benefit of our experience to others but this industry retains the capacity to surprise and we still sometimes seek advice. We also continue to benefit from having FPRA as the voice of our movement at the highest levels where the organisation has gained an excellent reputation for its expertise in an ever increasingly complex world. If you run your estate or if you intend to start then joining FPRA is a no-brainer.

Turned to the FPRA when in recent external works, previous roofing works which are under guarantee, proved to be of poor standard and failing in places. The FPRA advisor clarified that whether the roofing contractor was solvent or not which is also an issue, that the guarantee should have been 'an insurance backed guarantee' , something the RMC directors were unaware of so now have a clear path of enquiry against costs being incurred. Thank you

FPRA is a brilliant support organisation for all those blocks of flats that have taken advantage of enfranchisement. We did so in 2012 and felt we had been tipped into the deep end as we didn't even know how to run a company! FPRA guided and advised us through a very stressful time. We have now been managing as proxy Lessor for over 7 years and we have learned such a lot. The Newsletter is usually packed with really useful and relevant stuff that we can apply. I believe that FPRA is unique in what it does and it is very helpful that when professional advice is indicated they are able to call on worthy volunteers who kindly give their time. Bob Smytherman and the staff are also wonderful and give such a lot. The whole thing seems to be run on a shoestring and I hope that word will spread to those coming anew to the post enfranchisement phase. There is no doubt that self management saves a huge amount of money compared to a professional managing agent. We give a considerable amount of time without charge of any kind and do not charge for phone bills stationery etc. Most lessees appreciate this but there is always one who thinks he knows better and tries to order us about. His usual behaviour is to read our about our plans for bringing back the block from considerable neglect by a professional managing agent in our annual directors' report and then proceed to tell us what to do. As a reward, we have made him the dustbin monitor! Yes, there's always one !

Accurate honest advice. We submitted two questions concerning actions of a Management Company. The first one was, according to the advice, an action we could challenge and we were given the legal grounds for that. We will now take that advice to the Management Company and see where that takes us but at least we know we are on firm ground. The second one was a straightforward honest answer - they can do that. At least we know exactly where we stand in law Great help. Thanks
