When I cancelled my policy because I had sold the vehicle they wanted to charge me £75 for cancellation, this was more than I paid for the policy in the first place, they "very kindly" agreed to waive the charge. Ridiculous price for cancellation of the policy.

We had asked our broker to prepare a range of insurance quotations for us some months in advance of our renewal for our consideration. As the date approached it was recommended that our current insurer was the best, no comparative report was forthcoming for our consideration and we had to ask what others had been approached. It was again all within days of renewal giving us little time to properly consider our options.
