I visited the Metro centre shop earlier today, and have been going to foxy for my hair extensions for years, they are amazing quality and long lasting I couldn’t rate them enough, however the service especially today was exceptional, I was served today by a lovely girl called Alex, she colour matched me perfectly and made it a really enjoyable experience. I’m over the moon with my new extensions and Alex really did make it that little bit more special with the excellent service.

These are by far the most beautiful hair extensions I have ever purchased soft silky and stay that way for for the three months I have them in place the quality is outstanding ,I have been having hair extensions in for ten years and these can't be beaten, I would recommend them to eveyone you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely terrible don’t waste your money doesn’t even feel like real hair!

I went to my appointment with hair that has been absolutely ruined since having covid. After speaking to jade she spoke me through each technique and which was best for my hair type we ended up going for a totally different technique to what I’d initially went in for. For all my hair was an absolute nightmare jade was able to give me the exact look I wanted and made me feel so at ease throughout and left the appointment feeling a million times better than I did when I walked in. So thankful that the girls know what they’re talking about and won’t just apply hair for the sake of it or for the profit made me feel like someone actually cared about my hair and about me

The tape hair was beautiful as always buy the tapes where not holding ive got to go back today and re tape my clients hair I only fitted them yesterday I had to retype some as I was fitting them but quite a few came out lastnight

I’ve always bought my extensions from here and never had a problem but this time they all fell out after a few days as the tapes weren’t sticky

ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND LACK OF ANY KIND OF COMMUNICATION SKILLS. NEVER BUY FROM THIS COWBOY OUTFIT. They take your order/ money for goods advertised as in stock. Then send you the wrong item. Refuse to apologise or even expedite an exchange which you have to pay to return. Rude and obnoxious alleged customer service response an an apparent inability to understand the nature of your complaint/experience. Absolutely shocking.

Hair is amazing quality and staff always so helpful and friendly

I’m not usually one to post negative reviews but due to the money wasted myself (£240) and to prevent at least 1 person doing the same, I feel the need to. I purchased 3 packs of Foxy human hair deluxe Indian remy 22 inch tape extensions in October 2021, 2 in one colour and 1 in another. I’m brunette with roots darker than the ends, therefore needed two colours. The hair arrived, it was lovely and soft, long and luxuriously thick. You could really tell the difference in weight in each tape compared to other brands, I couldn’t wait to have them fitted. I have worn tape extensions from Hair Choice for 2 years before my order with Foxy, the only reason I switched was I wanted to extra length for my wedding day hair. The relevance of this was to explain how I am fully aware of the kind of treatment and shampoo (sulphate free) suitable to make tape extensions stay healthy and soft to avoid any loosening of the glue strips between the tapes and any sliding. After the first hair wash, I was surprised to see so much colour in the shower but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. However my second wash, my new tape hair extensions had gone from a lovely brunette to a ginger tone. They had really dried up and thinned as well, which I was not used to. Now im aware it’s human hair and for that reason, I always use a deep nourishing hair masque on the mid to ends of the extensions and this was done before my second wash. As I say, I was used to tape extensions so this was a shock. I emailed Foxy customer services and I must say, they were helpful. They explained I was using ‘incorrect products’ and that because I hadn’t used their specific brand’s aftercare, the colour ran. The process of how the hair is dyed was explained to me and that only their products had been tested and trialled on the extensions and this is why the website states purchasing their aftercare is an absolute must. I then purchased their aftercare (I had only washed the hair twice) and honestly it made no difference at all. I refuse to believe that the first two washes damaged my tapes to a point of no return and if it did, it just shows the quality of the hair originally. So fast forward to now, I cannot wait to remove these tapes and bin them. They have dried, matted and discoloured so much I am ashamed to have them in my head. Anybody who wears tapes usually will agree with this, this was my third lot of tapes and have lasted no more than 2 months. Hair Choice have lasted me 11-12 months each time and I’ve never had discolouration, thinning or drying issues, regardless of brand of shampoo and aftercare. I seriously question whether this is even genuinely human hair. Whilst the product was poor, the customer services were helpful and therefore deserve the extra star on this review.
