United Arab Emirates | 21 February 2020Watch DMR Auctions company. I bought a diamond ring, cost me £7,000 when it arrived 6 days later, it was badly damaged. I reported immediately following day. They asked to return which I did on 18th December 2019. It was a Christmas present for my wife. They still haven't refunded my £7K. I now instructed a Solicitor to recover my money. I - Bidder was just as bad. They don't help me in any way. It is disgusting how they behaved. I will never use i-Bidder or any auction houses under they umbrella. Plus they want me charge for delivery for items of 3kg about £25. Just be aware and don't buy from them, there lots of different auctions around UK, don't waste you money.

United Kingdom | 06 February 2020I have recently been buying from various online auctions and I must say that this is my worst experience thus far. The staff and the manager are very friendly and polite but please be aware of the pitfalls when buying from DMR. As per the other auctions I have been checking the items on site whilst picking the items up. The washing machine we picked up was used and you could still smell the washing powder and the clothes fluff was still in in the drum. I have yet to see if it actually works. I am not very confident at this moment even though his reassurance was that they have many repeat customers. The other auctions actually state whether there is any damage or whether the items are not working. I spoke to the office and they stated to me that it is sold as seen. It could be working or may not be....as the manager stated it is "suck it and see". It is not tested and there are no guarantees that they are working at all. You are allowed to see them before hand. This was difficult as we lived quiet a long way from the Accrington site. We also bought a floating desk. This had been damaged on both corners of one side. I did approach the manager whilst I was there and he stated that there was nothing he could do as they belonged to a third party. His consolation was in the future if we did any business with them then we could get them to do an appraisal before hand which I expect will have additional charges. I would expect some due dilligence from the company to what they are selling and representing. Also please be careful of what you are actually paying. As with the other auctions I dealt with i expected the VAT would only be on the commission / premium. But with this auction you also have to be careful as they also charge VAT on the hammer price and then the commission. The goods are not new. Their answer was that if the goods you purchased were outside of Europe. Answer: no they were from Bathstore liquidation. Then they must have both mad a mistake. These are larger Auction companies. The table we ordered and that was damaged was also different in design to the one we received. I was that focussed on the damage I didnt see it was different to the advert and it was a different colour. I did try and speak to the manager about a discount for the damage but he stated it belongs to a third party. The pictures are for illustration purposes only so please dont use them for buying from this company. My advice is buyer beware!!! I definitely have been taught a lesson in this case and doubt I will ever use this particular auction again. Ps. I will be contacting my credit card company and trading standard to see what can be done.

United Kingdom | 04 February 2020I will sing DMR's praises all day long; I find the customer services excellent, always happy to help, will go the extra mile. I buy regular each week and products are mostly excellent. The website is easy to use and what I like most; is they are honest and available to check products for you. I find the lads in the warehouse very friendly and helpful and will go out of there way to check heavy boxes and they are knowledgeable about the products that are listed in each weekly lots. Your missing out if you do not buy from them. Thanks to office staff who are friendly and work hard to present items in the auctions each week. x

United Kingdom | 14 January 2020I bought approx 14 items through the auction house, at least 5 did not arrive in the delivery. When I queried it, they said they needed to investigate it, 5 days later still no acceptable solution. Initially, I was told it was the courier, they had to repack the pallet, then I was told the warehouse staff were still looking for three of the items? If it was the courier's fault, I'm not sure why the warehouse staff were looking for them! So, I asked for a refund of the goods and the fees, a day later, I have had no contact, this is the worst customer service I have ever seen. I now have to contact a solicitor to get this sorted. really poor and I would not use them again! EDIT: In reply to your response, it wasn't in a timely manner, you lied about the circumstances and I still don't have a refund. So all in all, still really bad customer service!

United Kingdom | 12 December 2019The staff are very friendly and in essence the idea is good, but when roughly 60-70% of the electrical items you purchase just don't work, it simply doesn't make it viable. Also had a few occasions now where the pictured item doesn't actually match what is in the box when you get them home, so be sure to carefully go through and double check before leaving.
