Enquired on the first Order I submitted, never noticed the 5/7 day turnaround….fair enough my fault. Received my order two days later. Happy enough. Placed Order on 8th Feb….haven’t heard a thing 20 days later. EDIT. Happy Customer, Boss telephoned me, explained he’d simply been inundated with Orders…good news for any Cottage Business. He’s adding a few goodies to my small order. I’m well satisfied with his explanation….and yes, I will be continuing my customer relationship with the business.

NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!!! Ordered the 8th October yes October last year! After many emails messages and i nice chat with Alex who runs the Al’s kitchen who also tried to help me get my spices I finally gave up in January and launched a procedure to recover my money which was over 100 pounds!! This has been successful and i advise nobody to order from this company! As others have said many more spice companies out there giving a professional service! Why risk it?

Order never received. Placed on 4th December. Called them 2 weeks later to check status and was told it had despatched and should be with me any day. Later that day I got a notification than an EVRI request had just been raised. That never materialised to a parcel being given to EVRI by the store. Eventually, in January, I gave up and took a PayPal dispute (which the store never answered). They clearly have issues with order fulfilment. Shame, as I hear the products themselves are decent if you get them. Very disappointed as I was basically lied to when I called, and it was a christmas gift that somebody never got.

Absolute joke of a service. No correspondence, despite numerous emails, and Live Chats ( no response at all ). I could've walked from the UK to the sub-continent, found a field and grown, harvested and finely chopped the herbs and spices I needed, walked all the way back accompanied by a native sloth bear with my goods, quicker than it takes Spicy Joe and his band of ne'er-do-wells' to organise a delivery. I'm sure too, that the bear would also at least try to engage in a more active dialogue, despite it not being able to speak any human.

I can honestly say , if you want to go that extra mile when making a homemade curry look no further... I've been watching Al's Kitchen on youtube , Facebook etc .. and I'm very pleased to say working alongside Spicy Joe's they have come up with the perfect spice mixes for various different curries... No hassle all the hard work done for you.. easy instructions on the packet to follow .. and what a difference it has made .. so look them both up perfect for quick 30 min curry !! Highly recommended.. Al's Kitchen and Spicy Joe's 👍👍

Last year I waited quite a long time for my order to arrive, I phoned up and the bloke I spoke to explained the delay and apologised. I recently reordered and was pleased to see they’ve sorted out the delay and my order was delivered within a week of ordering 👍 The spices are top quality and I produce beautiful curries with them. I thoroughly recommend Spicy Joes.
