Expensive to say the least, but I don't mind paying for a good service, counter staff were polite and helpful but when they lost my keys and I tried to resolve by getting more replaced by them at a discount as it was their fault in the first place, the owner more or less told me to get lost! This guy doesn't have a clue how to run a business or treat his customers, what a plonker!

This is my experience of barnsleylockandsafe. I contacted them with some technical questions before an intended purchase. I got no reply. I contacted them again to ask another question and asked them to let me know if they just didn't want to answer the questions. Again I got no reply. Do I believe that I would get a reply if I had a problem after a purchase? No I don't, so I purchased elsewhere. Edited in order to respond to the reply to my review. The first thing that TrustPilot did when you tried to get my review removed was to request copies of the emails I sent and which they validated were correctly sent to sales at barnsleylock.co.uk (at substituted as email addresses not allowed in reviews), the email address being obtained from your webpage at barnsleylock dot co dot uk/contact-us-2-w.asp (dots substituted as links not allowed in reviews). I waited a week between the first email and the second email and then several days before I submitted the review, so I don't think I expected an urgent reply. The e-mails were simple pre-purchase technical questions about your products. Edited again to respond to their request for dates of the e-mails to help find the fault. The first email was sent on 16 August 2017 and the second one forwarding the first and adding another question was sent on 22nd August 2017. My rating was 1 Star because I had an "unacceptable experience". As they genuinely seem to want to find out why they didn't reply, I have edited the rating to 3 Star as an "acceptable experience but with some friction".

Delivered custom locks very quickly - despite the Easter break. They were exactly as specified and just over half the price quoted by a local locksmith. Excellent service.

I ordered a new key using the CISA code. It arrived on time by recorded delivery. The key works perfectly. I would strongly recommend anyone wanting a similar CISA key to use this company since their prices are reasonable and they use genuine CISA blanks.

I have recently ordered another high-security Avocet Eurolock, with extra keys. I rang a couple of times with queries. On each occasion I received a prompt friendly helpful response. I then placed my order online. It was despatched and arrived quickly and was correct in every respect. I strongly recommend this company and those locks. I recently ordered two sets of suited locks in various sizes. They're not cheap but the order was completed very professionally, as usual.

I recently ordered a CISA/ASTRAL key from this company. The door is an Everest one and I had been told these keys were potentially expensive and had to come from the company in Italy, so I was very pleasantly surprised to find I could get one from Barnsley for £5 including postage which arrived within 48 hours of my e-mailing the order. Fantastic and well done you! Highly recommend this company for price and service.
