Swapped cars so needed to cancel gap insurance and set up a new policy couldn’t have been easier One phone call and sorted

I am satisfied as everything went well and fast.

Even though I got confused by the web site (sorry that's another advert) and purchased the wrong product, this was swiftly corrected when I phoned, and I was put back onto a Return to Invoice basis without any quibbles.

The service provided to obtain the policy was very good. I do not have any experience in making a claim under the policy however

I am always very reluctant to make a review too early as future issues could make it grossly inaccurate and misleading to others; this is very relevant with insurance products/companies which can only really be commented on when a claim is made. Taking the aforementioned into consideration I can only rate and review the purchase of both GAP and Tyre insurance on the purchase process. After obtaining online quotations I called a number of companies which either failed to answer the phone or later badgered me will repeated calls. Platinum Gap was different in that there was always someone on the end the phone and the purchase process was swift and efficient. I had an most important query and concern relating to my interpretation of certain wording of the GAP policy; this was responded to in a very knowledgeable manner and was sufficient to put my mind at rest.
