United Kingdom | 17 December 2020Brilliant! Dealer GAP was £449. Platinum GAP was half that, with the same benefits. I asked Dealer about GAP, but wasn't told that they couldn't sell it on first day, to enable a market comparison. I only looked by coincidence ... + cancelled! Phew/Whew!

United Kingdom | 04 November 2020I recently paid the full price for GAP insurance for my Audi S5. I was called by an advisor the next day who basically chastised me for not calling beforehand and getting pre-approval as the car was on the pre-approval list. After explaining to him that nothing on their site specified S models needing pre-approval only the RS models. He baselessly insisted it did. Well here’s an excerpt from a screenshot from your site related to Audi model vehicles:- *Audi RS RS Q3, RS Q5, RS Q8 RS 3, RS 4, RS 5, RS 6, RS 7 TT RS* Show me where it specifies an Audi S5? He then used that reason as a gateway to ask me a myriad of questions around my car and driving history. The insurance was then declined on the basis that I didn’t know the thatcham rating of my tracker even though I said I could access it. Then an accident I had last year that was a non-fault after a driver drove the wrong side of the road and went head on into my car. The only accident I’ve been involved in after 14 years of driving and riding. My advice to you is don’t insult people’s intelligence and do not waste my time. If the advisor had been straightforward and said it was declined and apologised as the website doesn’t state my model of car but is being updated to reflect that, then that would have been sufficient. Instead of trying to argue the toss over something that clearly isn’t there. Update your site and add all the models of cars that are excluded and get advisors who are trained to know what the different makes and models of cars are and you wouldn’t have had to read through this poor review. I’ve since found GAP insurance elsewhere and I’ve spoken with them to confirm all is ok and there were no issues. - HAMC Wolverhampton
