United Kingdom | 21 February 2017Despite other people's negative reviews, I decided to place a first order with Hawthorn Health and found the whole process worked very efficiently: I was sent regular emails detailing my order, the despatch date, and the expected delivery date and timeframe, and my order then arrived as expected, well-packaged and complete.

United Kingdom | 02 November 2016The people next door have been away 2 weeks and apparently are unlikely to return so I have no idea how long that house will be empty. I have sent Hawthorn Health so many emails about this, they don't seem to accept any responsibility. Obviously I wouldn't have ordered from them if I'd looked up this site beforehand.

United Kingdom | 14 October 2016Firstly I placed an order only to find out they have cancelled half the items as they were out of stock. Website obviously said 500+ in stock. 2 weeks after placing order I had not received anything so I chased them only to find out my delivery was damaged by the courier and I was to get a refund. They did not inform me of this, I had to chase to find out. Do not pick up phone, reply to emails after a couple of days and just all round poor service. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

United Kingdom | 01 October 2016I tried canceling an order because I made a mistake which I realised immediately after placing the order. I sent two e-mails and tried calling 3 times. They never answer the phone. When they answered by e-mail this is what they said: "I'm very sorry to inform you that we are unable to adjust the item within your order as this would affect our stock levels. Unfortunately as your order has already been prepared by our warehouse team, we are unable to cancel this order for you as requested." So the order had not left their warehouse but they refused to cancel, because it affected their stock levels!!! I would have been happy if they just changed the colour of my order.

United Kingdom | 07 August 2016Was slightly put off by the last review but as their prices were good thought I would try. I thought I have paypal protection anyway. No issues at all, great quick service, items well packaged and in fantastic condition. Will be ordering again soon.

United Kingdom | 11 May 2016Hawthorn uses Yodel as distribution, who apparently left our delivery in front of our house... which is just off the road - no walls or porch, the front door is within 4m of the pavement. According to the card, the box was left in our porch - although there is no such structure; sadly it appears to have walked off by itself - the house was unattended for two days. After a few phonecalls, eventually Hawthorn sent a follow up delivery - although this was less than 25% of the original order - the rest of the items were crossed out on the delivery note. More phone calls and it turns out Hawthorn had run out of stock of the other items, but hadn't bothered to tell us and had kept the money! Some emails later, and a partial refund was issued - for less than it should have been. Hawthorn presents itself as extremely disorganised - stay well away.

United Kingdom | 10 March 2016Used these several times now. Have lowest prices I can find on certain items. They send out email once order is placed and another when order is dispatched. All of my orders were dispatched within 2 working days. I've always chosen economy postage option, which is based on weight. Unless you're stuff is over several KG, this is normally £3.75. Orders have all arrived within 5 days using this option. They don't provide any tracking with this service. Items have arrived well packed with generous amounts of bubble wrap and good quality boxes. I have had one order where an item was damaged. I photographed this and sent it to their customer service email. They responded the next working day, and I received a full and prompt refund on the item. They were polite to deal with.
