I visited Redcliffe branch great eastern highway and was tended too by a man called Steve Smith, who picked me up from a close by mechanic where my vehicle was undergoing some work. When he collected me , he could see that I was very distressed and anxious. I was very much trying not to cry after my car breaking down for the second time in a fortnight, seeing me so distressed He listened attentively and was very understanding to my situation, He took his time with me in an effort to find the right vehicle to suit our family’s needs. And because I was distressed and not able to think clearly. he recognised this also and was patient and caring and kind so that my anxiety and worries subsided and I could think more clearly. In every aspect of his service he went out of his way to make sure my experience was as smooth and simple as possible ,. He also provided me with solutions to my concerns. When I returned the car he went out of his way to ensure that it was a smooth and effortless process once again. In short I had an absolutely terrible day but rather then going home distressed and anxious about my vehicle issues I went home and told my hubby how the kindness of this young man had turned my day around. His genuineness and kindness and the effort he made to do the very best for me was so much more than I ever expected in a car rental business. I would highly recommend Steve Smith at ACE Car Rental Redcliffe Great Eastern Highway. Vehicle problems are expensive and very very stressful but if there could be any silver linings to my experience it would be that I could be blessed enough to have been taken care of by this man. I would like to give him 100 stars if I could , for the outstanding service and care he gave me.

We were charged in correctly for petrol. We made a note of exactly how much fuel was in the tank and they tried to argue it with us saying we owed them money for fuel. There was also some sand in the car as we went to the beach and they wanted to charge us for this. Disappointing.

They were very helpful by making sure someone was there for me to collect a car on a Sunday

It was simple and straight forward to choose and book a car from Ace Rent a Car on the web. After comparing the cars offered and the cost with other companies we decided their cars suited our needs. The staff were friendly and helpful and interested in seeing we were satisfied with the car we chose. We would certainly use them again when we travel to WA and if necessary consider using the shuttle service from the airport.
