United Kingdom | 22 January 2025I have used ROL for many years and always been very happy with the service, professional advice etc. However, in trying to decide on our next cruise we went to a local travel agent to see what they could offer..... When we showed them the ROL Cruise deal advertised in the Blue Horizons booklet, they were surprised and advised that they couldn't even get close the package price offered by ROL. So, my small benchmark test proved that ROL are indeed offering a great service at an excellent price so we booked our cruise with ROL and will continue to do so. Well done ROL, very happy indeed.

United Kingdom | 19 January 2025We were on HX In depth Antarctica departed London on 28th November. ROL and HX are excellent but the ground agent in Santiago Chile was absolutely rubbish. There was only one person, Brenda, at the arrival hall holding a board. She didn't tick our names off on arrival but just told us to wait at the hall. We ROL clients had to ID ourselves for same group by looking for the ROL luggage tags. After waiting for more than 1hr and half, we had to remind her to roll call our names before leaving the hall, walked in the hot sun for 15 mins with all our luggage to the bus. She was totally unprofessional. On our return from punta arenas, she was nowhere to be seen at Santiago airport. HX rep had to call her numerous times for the ROL waiting passengers. She finally arrived over an hour and half later, excuse was she was told the wrong arrival time. Surely she should have checked the arrival time personally as her professional responsibility. Then without rollcallng the names, she matched off and those not aware that she even had arrived at the airport was left off guard, and had to scramble to get all luggage running to catch up with those already marched off fir the 15 mins walk to the bus. She was totally unprofessional, uncaring and a extremely poor example of service, way below the standard expected by ROL passengers. The large group of ROL HX passengers were totally dismayed by her treatment.
