Professional courteous and efficient service. It had a personal touch very rare these days. Only advice I would offer is when initial contact is made describe your function, for the first 30 seconds I did not know if I was talking to CAA or a broker or an insurance company directly.

I think I have been SCAMMED Purchase travel insurance on this platform and choose Allianz quote. Paid with credit card and received email confirming that my application has been processed and that I will receive proof of insurance from Allianz. I waited 48 hours nothing, then call Rate.ca who at transfer me toAllianz. Allianz was not able to pick up my reference number....therefore couldn't help.i loss my money and did not receive any insurance confirmation. I cannot recommend this service!!

So I had been considering buying when something so perfect on a friday that had a next day (sat) open house..well they referred and had me in contact within a few hours for pre approval beating the major banks rates..looking forward to the shopping! ...Highly recommened

We have purchased travel insurance through this service. We did not get any confirmation of policy, when it was time to travel we called to find out if the policy was active. They have told us that we have no idea, gave us a policy number and asked to call insurance company directly, when we called insurance they told us that is not their policy number and in fact there is no active policy under our name. Be ware of this SCAM company, had no problem charging money, but failed to provide basic service.

The insurance estimate that I received from Ratesdotca, quote # KA240104-7B1T2, for $693 per year, that was “Locked in “ after providing my credit card information was a complete bait & switch work of fiction ! A broker from Scoop Insurance called me the very next day to tell me the actual price will be over $1000.

It has been a pleasantly surprising experience. Being initially rather skeptical about yet another aggregator/comparator service I was literally stunned with the result: a few clicks to get my policy for the rate SIGNIFICANTLY LOWER then the actual vendor offered when I tried to quote directly (to compare). Holy cow.
