Would give 0 stars if I could. Broker had us jump through a 2 month maze of hoops with our request of the same/similar coverage. Then tells me I have to have $5000 instead of $500 deductible on a gmc pick up truck. Yes. This is not a typo!! And coverages are not near the same and other deductibles are double. They had copies of our insurance renewal offers to match. Communication was extremely slow. Just a totally ridiculous experience. Save your time. Stay away from this company and their subsidiary of Scoop insurance.

I had done a quick car insurance quote from CAA and immediately began receiving repeated calls from rates.ca which I was not able to answer due to work and home commitments. I eventually answered one of the calls and when I asked a question about the quote, the agent said she couldn't answer it but she could transfer me to CAA. I asked what she COULD do for me and she said all she could do was transfer me to CAA. I asked to transfer to CAA and she told me they had high wait times, after which I asked to just be removed from the call list. The agent immediately launched into a big spiel about how "rates.ca" didn't have a long wait time but CAA did which... yes I understood that, but she already told me she couldn't answer any questions about my quote so what was the point in staying on the call with her? I just told her to remove me from the call list so hopefully I will not receive further calls about my CAA quote. I don't know what the point of rates.ca is aside from wasting people's time.
