I have just recently made myself a member of PMG many thanks to Vince for the excellant help , great service and communication

A perfect fit for me, as I put the clubs in the garage from November until late Feb, so to pay an expensive membership for 9 months golf is not worth it. PMG allows this at a decent rate. Vince has been very helpful and has delivered what was promised in the way of points, 2 of us joined at the same time. PMG also works for me as I travel a lot with work, and there seems to be plenty of clubs in the PMG scheme around the country. Roll on spring, looking forward to playing at a new club, be a nice change and an easier walk. EDIT Today I have been sent all relevant forms from the club, we get all privielges of being a full member, bar playing in board comps, no issue, oh and a nice welcome note from the secretary.

First of all, the advice we got from Vince was perfect and allowed me and a friend to make an informed decision to join! Secondly, it was so easy to join and we got extra points for joining in January! Thirdly, I was a member of another club last season and hardly played due to injury so couldn't justify paying nearly £900 again for 10 rounds so joining PMG gives me the flexibility and affordability to get back playing again this year. I can't wait to get playing at my new club!

First use - easy booking via App. Had an error, points deducted by app and then again when checked into reception at the club. Simple e-mail to PMG and sorted immediately.

Clear and simple what is on offer with PlayMoreGolf, very convenient to have this flexible membership if you can’t play as much as you’d like to if you was paying for a full membership. And being able to buy more points is perfect if you do want to play more. Having to use less points for off peak tee times is great as you can really get your moneys worth out of this membership scheme. Perfect if you’re not sure how much golf you’ll fit into the year. I just hope to see more local clubs join in so have more options and choice of where to use my flexi points. Overall very happy this is available for me thank you PlayMoreGolf

Recently signed up to Play more golf with a group of friends to give ourselves options to play regular golf at another club due to the regular closures at our home club due to wet conditions. Joined Holme hall as our home course which is already proving to be a great course and a friendly well run club. The app makes bookings easy as well enabling you to monitor your account and points usage. Great value for money and super options to play other courses using the flexible points you get when you sign up. Best golf decision I've made in a very long time.

Helpful call from PMG Central to ensure I had no unanswered questions. Easy to navigate website and add friends who are members elsewhere in the network. Great, cost effective, way to ensure I maintain a bonafide Handicap whilst having the flexibility to not be 'stuck' playing just the one course for 30 years! Recommended. 5*****

It fits in with my lifestyle and family commitments. I can't guarantee which days I can play so gives me the flexibility. One criticism is the need to rejoin in order to retain points you haven't used. Let's be honest, this year has more or less been a washout for people who can only really play in dry conditions. I have also had family issues that have restricted the time I had available. Finally, the idea is great and I have been promoting your company with my friends who are in a similar position.

If you want to feel like a second class golfer at your club of choice then use Playmoregolf. It’s a nice idea until you use them. The matrix point system is very confusing and isn’t very clear in my opinion. Almost feels like they made it unclear to begin with so you just buy and find out you’re a second class member. Therefore I think all the messaging and marketing is misleading. It’s basically a bunk buy of visitor green fees that you can use some of it at different clubs. You’re not treated as a proper member, you don’t get good tee times, it’s reserved for direct members because affording to Playmoregolf they pay a “premium”. I disagree with members paying a premium if I play just as much I’m actual paying more, it’s unlimited for direct members they just pay for upfront cost for unlimited golf. And don’t bother signing up and paying to get a handicap. What an absolute waste of money. As the only person I know with a Playmoregolf membership when booking I’m can’t join anyone to sign my scorecard. I have to beg other tee times to join them. It’s been a horrible experience, just work directly with the club. And finally, for Cambridgeshire GC I could only book 6 days in advance (only took me a few months to realise that, I initial thought it was because I was too slow to book popular tee times), if I knew that I wouldn’t have join, thinking I could book at least two weeks in advance. They don’t even give you the option to join other members on popular tee times.

Flexible and good value package

If you aren’t keen on morning golf and don’t play in winter then Play more Golf is a fantastic opportunity to play golf and get value for money at the same time. I refuse to pay more than £20 for a round for a game I’m not very good at so PMG is perfect.

The team at PMG are excellent with the points system totally suiting my current golf requirements.

Just renewed my annual membership for Play More Golf, I can't recommend this too highly. It is reasonably priced and gives you the freedom to play not only at the course YOU nominate as your 'Home' course throughout the year (without incurring the higher cost of full membership that you might not use) but also the freedom to play at so many other courses in the scheme throughout the UK! Away on holiday & fancy a game somewhere! Just go to the PMG app. Whoever came up with this idea deserves a medal! Helpful Customer Service too!
