Good system for those who do not want to join a club full time. Membership gives certain benefits at the home club, although this can vary from course to course. Website works well and enables bookings to be made / cancelled quickly and efficiently. Many courses available around the country but numbers vary depending on location, and in our area there is not a lot of choice. Generally provides cost effective golf for the occasional golfer.

I've been a member for two years now and two friends have since joined, helped by my positive experiences. If you only want to play regularly at the weekend in club competitions then perhaps PMG isn't for you but, if you can't play every week, can get out during the week, maybe after work in summer, or at other off peak times and like to play some different courses then PMG can work really, really well. You get many of the benefits of full membership at a more reasonable price and I've always been made to feel welcome at my local club. It's probably worth checking in advance that you like what would be your local course and that you will be able to book your preferred tee times and you will definitely want to know how many points it costs per round. And don't forget, there is a summer and winter points matrix with the winter matrix representing very good value. I'd thoroughly recommend giving PM a try and intend joining for a third year.

This has enabled me to get back playing golf and experiencing competitive golf and once again enjoying the social aspect that comes with being a member. Sean, the professional has been brilliant. Very welcoming and does what he can to integrate members and the PMG system. Highly recommended

Currently there limited timeslots at lower points to play. Lower points for earlier time slots would increase frequency of play and encourage more golf. Allow points to flex from home course to away courses. This allow us to experience playing at other courses Points for competion games too high. More discount on shop purchases to encourage buy....current prices are extortionate.

You are not tied down to one Golf course. You can play around at any of the other golf courses in PlayMoreGolf system, even when you are holiday :)

PlayMore is perfect for me. I am an occasional player that wants to play more but cannot justify full membership. I usually play weekday evenings which means 2-3 points per round. PlayMore is therefore superb value for money for me Plus I can maintain a handicap and participate in club events. My local club has embraced the scheme and is very supportive. The PlayMore team themselves have been great, very helpful and responsive. Anything that gets more people involved to support local clubs is a great initiative. I love it!

I took this membership out as a chance to run it alongside my full membership at another club, with a view to moving when my current membership expired. It has been useful, in getting to know the new members, but booking a time to play with other members has been difficult and it has not been easy to amend bookings. The system makes it look as if two tee times have been taken in order for my points to be deducted and I cannot add a member to play with or join their tee time. Last minute cancellation (due to bad weather or my playing partner not being able to make it) has also been diffuclt and it has only been by local agreement with the club that I have been able to carry points over to another tee time. Whilst it has suited to some extent, it is a little inflexible. Still... come the New Year, I'll be a full member anyway and will no longer have a need for this membership.

Play More Golf is an absolutely perfect product for me. As I spend a lot of time abroad it provides as much golf as I can play whilst back in the UK. It provides almost all benefits of being a club member including the opportunity to gain a full handicap and enter select competitions.
