New Zealand | 25 October 2023We were very surprised to find that the insurance for our new caravan was more expensive than our previous motorhome of the same value. Yet it obviously has far less mechanical components to insure. Like our motorhome our caravan is stored in a locked shed, not on the front lawn of a house visible from the road, but there doesn't seem to be any recognition of this and we are charged a premium annual fee.
