Filters do not line up with cap arrows. Once in, they run for a few minutes then sputter and stop. I tried 2 of the 3 and same problem. Called and they asked me to send video with maximum 500kb which is impossible. No video is that small. Their website contact info doesn't work. Won't send emails. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I wish I had seen this website before ordering two months ago. I still haven't received my order. I've emailed and called twice, with promises to email me back and nothing. As other reviews say, if you call you just get a 'I'll send this to the warehouse' This time I requested a refund but I'm not holding my breath. Might have to go to the Better Business Bureau to get something done.

I order my water filters a year in advance so I don't come up wanting. I purchased 4 filters for my water dispenser in my refrigerator. The first two worked fine. The third one started to dispense a black tarry substance. I immediately removed it and flushed the system. I set the bad one aside. I contacted the company. The lady's response was 'it is out of warranty.' She didn't even tell me if the black,tarry substance is something we should be concerned. I will do without before I by from Clatterans again.

I bought 4 water filters, CL-RF27. 2 were used within a few months and worked for a reasonable life time. I replaced s spent filter with the 3rd one and it failed immediately upon installation. By failed I mean it would not allow water to pass through it. I could not use the water or make ice in my refrigerator. I installed the 4th one. It worked for a month and then failed meaning it would not allow water to pass through the refrigerator. The filter light showed that the filter was still good. The company just told me they only allow a 1 year warranty it send back in 30 days after purchase. Evidently these filters fall apart just sitting on a shelf. Clattran has no interest in customer service.

I have ordered water and air filters for my Whirlpool refrigerator 3 times now and all were excellent. You have to drain 3 to 4 gallons of water with each replacement, but that's with any brand replacement. One filter had a crack at top nozzle area, Clatterans sent me a new one right away. I've had good luck with Clatterans so far and will continue to order from them, their filters work and are reasonably priced compared to Whirlpool filters which are totally outrageous. I don't have a negative thing to say about Clatterans so far and I hope it stays that way. I refuse to pay Whirlpool prices...it's only a water filter not a brick of gold!

I bought a 3 pack of Clatterans water filters for my Whirlpool refrigerator so I would have one on hand every 6 months when it was time to change. One of the filters would not lock into the refrigerator properly. I asked for a refund or replacement. The response was that my item was past the 1-year warranty and past the 30 days for a free return. I'm shopping elsewhere.

I bought a 3 pack of water filters for my Whirlpool refrigerator. The first one seemed ok. For the second one, the water tasted like chlorine, and after a couple of weeks, took it out and tried to install the third one. It didn’t seat right and made a loud noise when I tried to dispense water. So 2 out of three were bad. I asked for a refund but they said it was out of warranty. We contacted a different office but they were not helpful. They were not from the U. S. If I could have given 0 stars I would have.

Fraud FRAUD and FRAUD!!! I never placed an order, but some how I got on a subscription, I can't get my money back. They keep saying they have refunded my account, but it never shows. Paypal won't help because it's an unauthorized charge. BEWARE!!! Don't give them your name or email. They managed to charge my paypal.

Ordered water filters in early April 2021. They charged but never arrived. Called them. They only repeated the same 3 lines over and over about tracking information being made available via email, which also never happened, and their site didn't recognize my account nor order. After altering to their scam here, they shipped me my order and it arrived in early May 2021. So I edited this entry and bumped them up from 1 star to 2.

I supposedly ordered something from this business at 4 in the morning yesterday. I was charged 49.49. I did not order anything and now PayPal will not refund my money.

I ordered two water filters for my refrigerator mid January last year. I live in San Diego for the winter months only and went to install my second water filter and it leaked. One of the o-rings was compromised so I reached out to the company. They said your one year warranty has expired so we can't help. I would suggest staying away from this vendor. Its a product defect so why wouldn't they send me another one?? Because they don't care!

All of the negative reviews are spot on. I only wish I had read these before ordering. They only post positive reviews on their site. I attempted to cancel within minutes of ordering and they said item had shipped. According to USPS, at that time item had not been received for shipping. They refuse to cancel and say to return upon delivery. Based on other reviews, how can they be trusted to refund even upon return. Credit card charge came from company in Hong Kong. Save yourself the headache and do not give this company your business. Clatterans, dont bother asking for my order number since you dont plan on fixing this issue based on my numerous emails with your customer service robots.

I ordered 4 filters about a year ago but had not used one of the filters. Recently 4 more came in the mail that I did not order. Found out my name was on an automatic reorder list. I never order anything that allows that on my credit card. As far as I know, there was not a notice on their website saying they were going to do that. If there had been, I would not have used this company. I called the company and told them to take my name off the reorder list. She emailed a website to go to to take me off the list. It was confusing to me so my friend who is more computer savvy helped me. I had gone through PayPal, thank goodness. So I hope they can no longer charge my credit card. My refrigerator gives me a signal when to change the water filter. So I changed it a few days ago. Well it was leaking water. So I took it out and put in another new one. Waited a few hours and it was leaking too. That is when I decided to check reviews to see if this is a common problem. Wow, I should have checked reviews first before dealing with this company. Apparently I’ll not get my money back even if I return the 6 filters that I still have not tried. I really hope all the people who have been scammed report this company to the attorney general’s office and the Better Business Bureau.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS! Some months ago, I ordered filters from them. They sent the wrong ones. I sent them back, and asked for a refund. I never received any acknowledgement of their having received the return, and my credit card was charged for them anyway. I went ahead and paid it, and chalked it up to experience. I expected that to be the end of it; it wasn't. A couple of months ago, they sent me another set of the wrong filters. Stupid me, I figured it was an oversight, something that was done by mistake, since I hadn't asked for them. So I sent them back. Under the mistaken impression that they were honest people, I didn't bother to preserve any documentation of having received them or having returned them. Now, I have received another bill for filters that I never ordered, and couldn't have used even if I had. My credit card company hasn't been able to get a satisfactory response from them either. Clatterans: don't bother asking for an order number--there wasn't one, since I didn't order them in the first place. You should be able to find the information in your records. Shell company pedaling cheap Chinese junk. I cancelled my first order after 3 attempts to get the correct filter. THEN these clowns put my name on an auto order list-now I have to dispute through PayPal, as the customer service # NEVER gets answered and mailbox is always full-probably with complaints!!

DO NOT ORDER FROM CLATTERANS; I personally would pay a premium to avoid them. I ordered six air filters and six water filters and received the wrong filters which they expected me to pay to return. After 4-6 emails, and 2-3 calls and a ton of frustration, resulted in my demanding they provide a return label to send the merch back. Fearing that I would receive a reduced credit as the merch sent was less than what I paid for the correct items, I provided a detailed note and email trail to show what should be credited. I returned the items immediately with the prepaid label and never received my refund. The customer experience here is shameful; This firm clearly has no process for handling errors of any kind. Its offshore (Philippines Im guessing) customer center is beyond useless, and cannot act on anything non-standard or make a decision. Update; I reached out to Clatterans nearly a month after sending back the items, having never received any correspondence to confirm receiving them. I received a response indicating the merchandise was located and a refund would be processed in 1-3 days; fast forward 17 days later and I still have no refund. Update 2: I followed up again and was told I would have a refund in one weeks time; fast forward one week and no refund as indicated. I have given up, and turned it over to my credit card company. RUN FROM THIS VENDOR - DO NOT BUY HERE!!!!
