But this year, with the cost of energy soaring we went for it. We shopped around first and Sunflow sent through a catalogue. After giving that a read we spoke to Jay who was incredibly helpful and not in the least bit salesy. He talked us through, gave us time and answered our questions over a few days. When I asked if they had any discount to offer, he came through with a sensible and fair deal. We decided to go for it and booked them in. Less than a month later we have 4 new electric heaters. They were installed by Ricky and Haren who were polite, helpful and incredibly efficient. Finally, we have a heating system for the year 2021. Thanks all at Sunflow.

United Kingdom | 20 September 2021Welcome email from CS manager introducing herself for a smooth transaction but no communication from her whatsoever from start to finish. Had to deal with the surveyor guy who came out instead. Very bad CS and communication was extremely bad both within the company btw staff and also btw the company and myself. Didn’t get full job I originally asked for completed due to this miscommunication but rest installed after guys turning up at 450pm and me having to re-arrange things for them to come back in day two. Unacceptable and would not recommend. And they didn’t deduct the vat off my bill so lost over £300..please have second thoughts about this co. Extra.. still doesn’t help me that you don’t give me the vat back…

United Kingdom | 19 September 2021We needed to replace expensive night storage heaters in a family holiday home with modern, low running cost electric radiators which we could turn up and down from remote. We did our research and even visited Sunflow’s factory to make ourselves fully informed (thanks for the hosting Nick). The ordering process was simple with Claire in control and we specified an installation date to suit when one of us would be there. Engineers Rob and Josh turned up promptly. They had to overcome a few infrastructure problems but remained professional, patient and determined throughout. Mission accomplished, they left the place beat and tidy. The next day the heating came on as planned, the radiators look great and we are very satisfied customers.

United Kingdom | 26 April 2021Out of all the sales people who came round, Michael Sheridan was the only one who didn't try and sell me a new electric distribution board. Which clearly didn't need but guess it's a way of making more money! Prices agreed with an additional discount added as an incentive to proceed. Paid the deposit on 26th November, received a mail on 27th thanking me for my order and a date will be arranged soon. Chased Michael up on 22nd December as no one had been in contact. A date was eventually scheduled early January 2021. Plumber removed the radiators, installed new boiler shame he used and took away one of my bath towels to mop up the water! There was also some loose pipe work left in the attic. Pipework & boiler fitted well and finally to have pressured hot water is great. He gave me a quick demo on how things worked. He never removed the back boiler though. Which was advised initially this was part of the quote. The next day the two Sunflow fitters arrived I mentioned about the boiler not being removed, one of them was surprised and also asked me had the plumber mentioned whether I wanted a thermostat fitted on the boiler (answer is no). He kindly called the office to find out why the back boiler wasn't removed - they called back with 'needed scaffolding' or 'the chimney needs to be stabilised' not even quite sure now. So I emailed asking for a written explanation on why this wasn't completed, to date nothing received back even though have chased up for a response. So not really impressed with the customer service aspect of the company. The fitters were great courteous installed the heating and explained how it all worked. After two weeks noticed that the living room and kitchen were on 'one controller' being the kitchen one. Noticed this because the living room was supposed to be on longer at the weekends. No matter what I did to reset didn't work, so simplest tactic swapped the controllers over. Called the office as wasn't sure if I had a faulty controller as the guide on resetting didn't work. Left a voicemail asking for someone to call, after a week of no response called again. This time a lady called me back. It did take a minute to convince her I knew what I was talking about and somehow two heaters were on one device. I'm sure you deal with people who don't understand all the time, however it would be nice to be treated as if sometimes we do! The information on resetting in the notes have wasn't correct as needed to do something 3 times instead of 2. Anyway resolved. I have changed the settings on all of the controllers to suit my needs, and know my electric bill will spike, especially as work from home now. However the gas central heating was so old and not efficient that this was the best option. I am happy with the radiators sure it will take time to get used to them. Slightly disappointed in the dealings I've had with the customer services side of things.

United Kingdom | 18 April 2021Having made arrangements to purchase heaters with Sunflow, circumstances prevented us from completing any further and we never proceeded to delivery. 2-3 years after purchase we got in touch with Sunflow and explained in detail our multiple exceptional circumstances and the position we were currently in and that we were now no longer in need of the heaters. They were extremely compassionate towards our situation and kindly offered us a full refund of our deposit. They arranged this quickly and the whole process was friendly and reassuring. We very much appreciated their efficiency and we would not hesitate to recommend them. They are a company that understand customer service and go above and beyond the norm. We are so very grateful.

Installed on time with a phone call for arrival time. Explained everything clearly. Everything seems to be working well. Will do an update when it has been running awhile.

United Kingdom | 09 April 2021When I moved into my new storage heater-laden flat at the end of last year, I knew the entire system needed ripping out. So I contacted a certain German rival for a quote, and was taken aback by what they wanted to charge just to change two of my five heaters. I couldn't accept that, so I looked elsewhere, and that's where Sunflow came in. Every step of the way, so far, has been fantastic. Cassy, who's rapidly gaining hero status on these reviews, was incredibly down to earth and honest. I've never received such a genuine customer service experience. Giving me a rough price guide and encouraging me to shop around first was only part of it. I won't reveal everything Cassy said, but I was so impressed that I just knew I'd be going with these guys. Wilf, the "I'm not a salesman" salesman was brilliant. He demonstrated the technology and we had a really good laugh. And then, after a bit of negotiation, he gave me a price that was far, far more reasonable than the one I got from elsewhere. Dawn and Claire were great when I spoke to them over the phone, and they answered all my email queries. The engineers, Rob and Olly, were both brilliant. On time, really polite, respectful and just down to earth, like everyone else I've dealt with so far. The heaters look great. Exactly central to where I wanted them and wires all tidily maintained. In addition to that, they went out of their way to advise me on an electrical fault that was not their doing, but was only really unearthed (no pun intended) after they changed my meter from an Economy 7 one to a standard one. I woke up this morning to my first timed heating experience, and the room was lovely and warm. Far warmer than my previous heaters. I'm really impressed with the thermostat system, too. My partner (who doesn't live with me) is jealous that I get to change the temperature using a separate thermostat in each room, unlike central heating systems where one thermostat is usually used to control the temperature of a whole house. It remains to be seen if my electricity bills will be reasonable enough, but after I turned my heating off this morning, they stayed warm for a good while afterwards - just as they were demonstrated by Wilf, so I'm definitely confident. Found her approach very honest and professional and she certainly gave us food for thought! She gave us honest expectations of price and running costs but wasn’t pushy at all and advised that we seek quotes from other companies so that we can compare. I’ve spoken to 3 other companies regarding heating and I can honestly say that Cassie was the most helpful, honest and knowledgeable so I’m looking forward to meeting the engineer who I hope was as professional as Cassie. If you need advice on heating I would strongly recommend speaking to Cassie.

I rang and spoke to a young lady called Cassie, my phone cut out 3 times as I’ve recently moved into new property and have a bad signal. Each time my phone cut out Cassie kindly called me back and was patient and answered all of my questions. Unlike other companies I have spoken to regarding heating she was very knowledgable and answered all of my questions in a professional manner. I didn’t plan on booking a survey as I’ve had surveys before from other companies, however cassie’s knowledge and professionalism was very impressive so I will be booking a survey. She gave me honest expectations on price and didn’t try and sell to me which is always refreshing! In fact once she’d answered all of my questions she told me to have a think about it and if I’m interested to call her back! She even suggested to that I get other quotes from Fisher and Glow to compare prices. I find this kind of customer service very refreshing and think other heating companies should take note!

Based on the information she gave me I booked a survey and the surveyor was very helpful, not pushy like others companies I have dealt with. I purchased radiators and already have an install date, and I know i'm going to love them as 3 of my neighbors have them installed and say they are very good!

United Kingdom | 04 February 2021We had 5 radiators installed to replace our very old night storage heaters, and are very happy with the installation. The men who came out to do the job were very efficient and got the job done in good time. However, the Sales team left a lot to be desired. We had issues with the choice of colour of one of the radiators, which only came to light the Friday before installation on Monday. The issue was that there are NO COLOUR CODES in the brochure, which make it IMPOSSIBLE to check what was put on the quote. We were told that we should just sign the quote and pay the deposit to get the ball rolling, and the colour would be sorted out later. We sent an email referring to the page number of the colour we wanted, which ended up different from the colour on the quote. Beware!! If you're wanting a specific colour, make sure the number on the quote corresponds with the number you get sent on the swatch. NO ONE FROM SUNFLOW WILL CONTACT YOU TO CHECK THIS! It's up to you to contact them!! We are very disappointed that there was no follow up communication about the colour from Sunflow before installation. A quick call from the Sunflow team would have prevented a Very long conversation with Sophie, causing my husband a lot of stress!! There has been no email or phone call to find out if we are happy with the colour, or to apologise for the error since installation.

United Kingdom | 21 January 2021My father replaced 2 large unsightly night storage heaters and a wall mounted heater with 3 Sunflow radiators. He is now in control of his heating and very happy indeed. A company's good reputation is built on the quality of their staff and the engineers that carried out his installation were faultless, they set the controls to the room temperature my dad requested and also showed us both how to use them. They explained that we could find easy to follow tutorials on line if necessary. I will be contacting Sunflow directly to give credit to all individuals involved . We are both very pleased with the results and would strongly recommend them.

United Kingdom | 07 November 2020I would strongly caution anyone thinking of having this heating system installed to think again. Since installation even with my new electricity tarrif my payments have increased to a prohibitive level. The only document that I have received from this company states boldly that it is the most important document that I will get from them. In the bottom right corner is the cost for instalation with a request that if I look inside the document there will be a break down of this cost. Inside my document there is simply the size of radiators and a note to say that I will be changing my electricity tarrif. My phone call to the company requesting a copy of this missing breakdown has so far yielded no further correspondence. The installer spent less than two minutes initiating me into the very complicated workings of the controllers. So, as he said, not to blind me with science. It took me considerably more than two minutes to work out how to properly work this complicated device. I had read in the literature provided about this intelligent system. Intelligence, as was my understanding implied an ability to understand, even think and learn so I was surprised to discover that each controller required 2 AA batteries in order for the information to be set. Kind of like putting the batteries in a child's toy to make it go. Quite possible that once the battery had used up its charge the information may be lost. Intelligent? It is easy, especially in these times, to be seduced by the friendly voice on the phone line and the glossy brochure advocating this system. And also by the sales rep who will repeat all the attributes about the system without mention of the increased running costs, the complicated controllers, the required AA batteries,the lack of after care, proper breakdown of costs etc. In fact, if you don't ask the questions you will not be given the answers. And, you know, at least in my case, it is a misconception that if we can afford to have this system installed then we don't need to know the true cost to our budget. The radiators may be state of the art and the technology green and all the other amazing attributes stated in the brochure, your friends, like mine will be mightly impressed. And it may be that you have an endless supply of money to finance this venture and a never ending supply of AA batteries and maybe a younger family member to adjust the controllers should you get into difficulty. Just maybe it is the sytem for you, it certainly wasn't for me.
