Canada | 28 May 2020Generally, we have had great service from Tanis, Sharla and Eva. They have been very helpful and always willing to assist in any way they can. However, it appears that due to their inability to see communications with us by the others, an order that was to be cancelled - not shipped because we received part 1 of a 2 part order of the same product and found it was not what we expected despite us buying it before. For some reason it was way thicker and therefore unusable. This was communicated a number of times and as such we were under the impression that the order was held pending our confirmation from 3M as to why it was wrong and what exactly we should order instead. The request was referred to their engineering department and we are still unsure of what product we should order to get the same thickness we had obtained in the past from 3M. Unexpectedly, we received notice of the shipment late on Friday 22 May after working hours. We tried to stop it on Monday but it was too late. It has just arrived today. We have no use for either the first or the second shipment. We are told that we can return the first shipment but not the second despite our communication explaining the product was unsuitable and not to process the order. We would advise what the new order will be when we had confirmation from 3M as to what we should order.We understand mistakes happen, we are all human and we are happy to pay the double shipping costs to get the products returned as our contribution to the problem. But we find it unacceptable that after we explain the product is not usable long before it is shipped, that it is still shipped and been told the product is nonreturnable! Tenaquip needs to step up to the plate on this one and make it right. UPDATE: June 10,2020- We have discussed the issues and resolved the differences. An agreed solution is in progress. Thanks to all who were involved.
