Product arrive in time

Very disappointing experience with this company. Ordered an item on 7th July, and received confirmation of the order. Followed up on 12th July when I had not received notification that it had been dispatched, and received a vague standard response saying it usually takes 2 -3 days to process and sometimes longer. Followed up again on 23rd July and received a response saying that an email was sent to me on the 7th July notifying me that they were unable to fulfil the order and asking whether I wanted a substitution or to cancel the order. There is no time-stamped evidence that they sent me the purported email, and I have time-stamped evidence of emails they sent on 7th and 12th July indicating that they were processing the order! The kindest interpretation of these facts is that it is contradictory. Having read an earlier review, I am now doubtful as to whether they will act on my instruction to cancel the order!

So difficult to get UK products delivered to us in France now after Brexit so I'm glad to have discovered British Essentials

I was emailed at 8 am to be told that my order couldn’t be fulfilled. Would I let them know if I wanted a substitute or to cancel my order. I replied within 2 hours that I wanted to cancel the order. 2 days later, they’ve written to say that a substituted item has left the warehouse as I hadn’t replied soon enough! Useless company. I’d like my full refund and won’t be using you again. Chancers

I’m Late making my Review of British Essentials, which I should of done almost a month ago The person I spoke to most was Richard.P who was super nice & explained everything to me.. I.E there could be a customs fee & that due to my county ( Ireland not having the stick/goods/Foods I want ) An Example I made just under a £100 pound purchase And my Customs charge was under €15euro & delivered to me by An post within 5 days My goods were the most well packaged parcel I’ve ever got through out years of getting stuff delivered. Bubble wrap & papers The only thing I’ll say is go to customs of your country to make sure , what you want is not banned or can’t be sent my air to your nation, so form me it’s Customs Ireland & a lot of it common sense 95% of it .. Like Batteries or Lighters etc .. But you more than likely will get a customs charge which might be new to you but is very standard & straightforward, and is never much in my experiences I *Truly Love* British Essentials!! Love the company, The Team they have is Amazing is Super easy to Use & they update you non stop along the way I got 2 deliveries, I got my goods shipped in under 24 hours with tracking & I was only waiting 5 days before I got my packages. My dad is from Northern Ireland So here down south in the Republic Of Ireland for me & him now , he can’t get the Sweets & foods he grew up on. So super handy for Father’s Day or Christmas or birthdays. But I use it to get my favourite coffees & drinks .. It’s such an Awesome Site & I can’t say enough good things about it. Super Happy Customer & Will be making Another order this week I wish I found the site so much sooner! 5 stars all round!

The product was delivered amazingly quickly, considering that it had to cross the ocean, and it's a great product, the best of its kind I have found. I immediately ordered two more bottles.

Ordered hot chocolate which they had a picture of online. M & s fair trade hot chocolate in blue canister. . They sent the brown normal hot chocolate which I could have bought a quarter of the price. Despite sending emails as you are unable to call them they failed to respond. Do not buy!! Scam company. They take your money and don’t want to know. Be warned!!

Ordered by image on website marigold squeaky clean cloths and happy to pay the price. They send me cloths of a different composition which anyone can buy locally at a far lesser price. Backwards and forwards to customer service dept simply requesting a returns note and prepaid label as clearly not the product in the image and communicated the same. Stock pre scripted email replies. Would never ever purchase from this shower again!!!@@

Beware of buying from British essentials I had ordered a large batch of tea from this company. It also arrived, but since then they have continued to send me the same portion and charge my card several times in a month. I have informed them that I did not order it but they claim that I clicked on "subscription and 10%". I have requested the transaction to be withdrawn and then they want me to arrange the return myself. No help with return forms or postage paid, other companies can figure that out. It is obvious that no private person needs to buy tea for DKK 1000 several times a month. Date of experience: June 19, 2024 Edit jeg havde bestilt en stor portion te hos dette firma. Den ankom også, men siden er de blevet ved med at sende mig den samme portion og hæve på mit kort flere gange på en måned. Jeg har gjort dem opmærksom på, at jeg ikke har bestilt det men de påstår at jeg har klikket på "subscription og 10%. Jeg har forlangt handlen trukket tilbage, og så vil de have, at jeg selv sørger for tilbagesendingen. Ingen hjælp med returblanketter eller porto betalt. Det kan andre firmaer ellers godt finde ud af. Det er jo oplagt at ingen privat person har brug for at købe te for 1000 kr flere gange om måneden.

Delivery time took several weeks by passing the customs. I would have liked it if i had known that in advance.

As a resident of the US and having visited the UK numerous times, I really enjoy being able to get the snacks I enjoyed in the UK shipped to me in the US. The only draw back is the expiration or “Best By” dates. Sometimes both are really close to the day received.
