Hi, we're based in the Shetland Islands and I'm a bargain hunter. Knowing delivery is always an issue & have got great rates with a couple of courier companies. Tooltray allowed be to pick up my order using our own courier and that in my book is a 5 star service. The items were all branded products so no problem there. The staff were helpful and didn't mind me calling in several times sorting out delivery. Would recommend using them and would certainly come back again if the need arises.

Ordered an item, was told it would be 3-5 days later than anticipated, weeks later still nothing and no reply to my emails asking what the situation is. Unnacceptable.

Fast service great price poor packaging

A quality strimmer for the home user from Makita nice and light to use, so much better than my previous electric strimmers and you know if well looked after it will last for years. Very pleased with my purchase.

I stumbled on tooltray through a google search for a sander - tooltray had the sander at a good price, and all the accessories in stock. There was a slight hiccup on delivery but they contacted me immediately and the item was delivered a day later - no problem. I had to send an email to query one of the accessories, and received a very helpful response immediately. Will definitely check them out when looking for tools again.

I placed my order, paid and received an email explaining that I would have to wait a few days for my order. That seemed Ok, but a day later received an email letting me know that it would be at least 2 weeks before receiving my order. I had the option to cancel and have my payment refunded or wait. I emailed back explaining that I could wait for about 10 days. I am still waiting, no email updates. If I do not hear in the next few days I will have to cancel. I am pleased with the price but disappointed with service, why advertise a product if you do not have it in stock!!!!!!

My order for a Makita petrol strimmer was very efficiently dealt with, delivered within 2 days and at the best price I could find. I would certainly use them again.

Only 1 of the 2 items arrived and the other couldn't be found by the driver. Tooltray sent out a replacement for the missing item promptly. Unfortunately this was still not delivered, so Tooltray sent out another replacement with a different delivery company and that arrived. Both items were just what I wanted. Thanks.

E-mail received shortly after order saying there would be a slight delay, as some items were out of stock. Delivery of all items within 4- 5 days. Excellent service.

Items were not in stock, but they got them too me very quickly, also best price I could find.

My only negative feedback is in relation to poor delivery notification. My order was processed online. I was notified that the ordered items were out of stock & that I would receive the order with 3-4 business days. I was not notified that the order had been despatched by Tooltray. So I had no idea when the delivery was due. On the day of delivery, i received a phone call 10 minutes prior. Thats simply not good enough, not only is Tooltray inconveniencing the courier but also myself.

It did exactly as it said on the details which I had to get off the Internet as some fool had put a FedEx sticker on the instructions which came off with the FedEx wallet!! I used it on a stone resin table and though did not bring the darker colour back that I wanted, did make the surface smooth again with a slight shine.
