Issue still not resolved originally called on 8/11/23 policy is not being shown on New York State workers compensation website as me having coverage

We had the worst possible experience with this company. We cancelled after a few short months and found a better company that links payment directly to payroll. We are still receiving communications from Cerity 6 months later while we dispute an audit that didn't even have my name spelled correctly. We will need to take them to court to get our money back. I wish I'd read the reviews on the BBB prior to choosing them. They have a D- rating.

My experience with this company has been second to none terrible. I needed to ensure I was covered with workers compensation for a very short period. I found Cerity online and saw that it offered insurance month by month with "no sneaky fees". I took out the insurance and then cancelled it so I would only be charged for one month. I paid about $50 in March 2022 and thought that was the end of it. So you could imagine my utter surprise when I found in April 2023 the company took another $350 dollars from my account. I was never informed this was coming. If I had been I would never have taken out their policy simple as that. Their website says that they have "month-to-month pricing and no sneaky fees". Well I don't know what this is if it isn't a sneaky fee. I contacted the company but they have been unresponsive in refunding my money. It is unfair to honest working people that they are allowed to operate like this. Buyer beware!
