The cook meals make doing meals for friends and family so much easier, especially when I'm short of time.

Adore the salmon Wellington; had it again at the weekend and it never lets you down the other half of the family had beef Wellington which they thoroughly enjoy! And then there’s the deserts……. We tried some new ones this time and half of us had the cherry Bakewell which we adored and the other half had the chocolate pudding which they also loved! That’s why I give Cook top marks. Keep doing what you do! :-)

Beautiful meals at a reasonable price. Very convenient

Most of the food was excellent although I found the sausage rolls (veg and meat versions) a bit dry. Main problem was being told day before (& 10 days after ordering) that the centrepiece Bombe pudding was not available. However I found the last one in another Cook shop 10miles away so the day was saved.

Was a big fan of Cook for years but stopped using them altogether when they stopped taking cash. Occasionally use now if there's a particular reason, which there was this week. Of 3 dishes so far, the lamb dupiaza was excellent. The saag paneer was horrible: very dry, spinach very tough and stringy and totally tasteless. A linguini dish yesterday was tasteless and utterly forgettable. Comparing notes with equally disenchanted friends and reading other reviews here I wonder if Cook has sacrificed taste, texture and overall enjoyment to the drive to reduce salt, sugar and saturated fat? Please return to the recipes that made you popular in the first place.

It was New Year’s Eve and I was feeding 20 people. I had ordered two large and one small lasagna and you failed to deliver the small one. Obviously this created major problems and I ended up having to create a last minute main meal for four (totally defeating the purpose of ordering from you). You gave me a £10 voucher as an apology which, frankly, I found risible.

Love Cook food. I can relax and know that I have a nutritious meal available for when I need one
