Great experience, from placing my order, online, for a specific date, to delivery. It made entertaining for fifteen, just after Christmas, extremely easy.

Beef Bourguignon 4 portion is £15.92 but I need for 8 people and 2x 4 portion container won't fit in my oven (I only have one shelf). The price of the 8 portion container (saving on packaging costs, etc and exact weight weight as 2x4 portions) is £39. I asked for this priced to be match to the 2x £15.98 or £31.96. Libby in customer service couldn't understand why this makes sense and told me that they couldn't offer the £31.96 price. I won't go forward with my basket purchase of £100 worth of food.

These are great meals. I love how I don't have to check the ingredients list each time as the meals are clearly labelled dairy free. There is a good and varied choice.

I did my first click and collect last week. Worked very well. Only problem with the Wells store is that parking is not convenient when picking up a large order. One item I did not enjoy was Macaroni Cheese with ham and cauliflower - disappointed as it was very bland.

Great assistance in the shop was a great start. Then the food was delicious. Our dinner party was a great success.

It’s very nice food (superior to most ready-meals I have tried) particularly if you cook in the oven. Easy to pick what you’d like and get a time/date for delivery. Delivery extremely reliable, always comes on time (or a bit early!). Only slight issue is you have to order at least £45 worth of food for delivery, which is quite hard with a small freezer.

My partner and I have been buying the Cook Beef Stroganoff for a couple of years now. However a few months ago we purchased one as usual but, to our utter dismay it was bland and full of gristle. To be fair, Cook refunded us the full amount in no time at all. Today we decided to give the Stroganoff another go but, although the meat is better the taste was lacking any flavour at all. To call it bland is an understatement! I’m sorry to say I ended up giving mine to the dog. My partner was hungry so ate his but not happily. Come on Cook, we know you can do better than this. What has happened to the original recipe??? Please bring it back!

This is the second time we have tried the beef wellington. The first time was the dinner party size for 6. Having followed the instructions it was a failure. To their credit they reimbursed me. This time we tried the wellington for two. The cooking instructions were completely off as 55 minutes in a Miele oven as per instructions for rare pink (that normally cooks to perfection on other outlets instructions) rendered the beef overdone. The meat was tough. We bought 4 meals from Cook and apart from the venison casserole all others were below par. I won’t be buying from Cook again. I understand food as I have relevant qualifications.
