I chose Connectec for a few reasons, price was one of them, good reviews was another but what swung it for me was the helpful forum. I'm fairly tech savvy and felt confident and keen to have a go at a self install. It's clear I am not alone and I found answers to most of the questions I had, and lot's of advice in the forum. A simple and helpful ordering system with prompts during the process was the icing on the cake for me.

The customer service was excellent. There was a problem with the order but they responded very quickly and sorted it out to my complete satisfaction. I would definitely use this company again.

Ordered alarm batteries that are hard to source. They had them in stock and within 48hrs they had arrived. My only reservation is their standard postage charges. Two small batteries for £10 that weighed less than 50 grams still attracted a £4.99 postage charge. Exorbitant in my opinion

Very pleased with the on-line discussion with Paul and the advice received. Was advised to purchase a less expensive DVR than the one I had in mind as there was little difference in performance, which is indicative of honest advice and excellent customer service. Ordered a HIK vision DVR plus two cameras and POE switch on Saturday afternoon, which were despatched on Monday and received on Tuesday. DVR up and running with existing analog cameras on the same day and two new IP cameras to be wired in shortly. Very satisfied.

Excellent service and very quick with help from the online support team as well they dont use technical terms they always are friendly and very reasonably priced but award winning products I am a novice diyer but was simple to connect a complete DVR system with cameras and they helped me to set it up and share it.
