Great Product and great customer service

These guys are brilliant. I paid a fortune for exactly the same service at OPSM, and came away from Dresden with same good results but hundreds of dollars still in my pocket. And nicer looking glasses with frames made from recycled refused plastics from the ocean, King Street Newtown, and God knows where else. I love Dresden Vision.

Shopping online with Dresden for glasses has been an easy experience. Helpful staff and a great product too. I have been recommending Dresden to all my friends and family as I feel this is a great choice for people to make ethically for the environment and for the old hip pocket.

Myself and my partner had our eyes tested here, and I bought two pairs of glasses. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I was able to get my glasses made on the spot. After several months both pairs are holding up perfectly, they fit well, and they look great.

At this stage I am yet to purchase my new spectacles...I am a 6 plus hour return drive from Auckland so will have to plan a trip....BUT....I was pretty impressed with the quick service I received, plus a tentative quote for my spec frames and lenses... Look forward to making an appointment plus a [very long] day trip! Wish you guys were closer to the Central North Island though.... And I am Lorraine - not Neil. !

Excellent service

It wasn't a great experience to be honest. I ordered a pair of glasses that were not really what I wanted (yes, my fault) but the sales girl did not explain the reasons why I couldnt have the lenses that I wanted. I wanted bifocal glasses and she said that was not possible, but my prescription was for tri-focals, which she was happy to order. The result was she measured me for the new glasses but I have never worn them as they are not right (again, my fault for not taking them back..) She was the only one in the store at the time and there was several customers there and she was not coping at all. I am not happy but I may give them another chance.

Dresden is the best eyewear company I have ever known. As a frequent and returning customer, I have always found their glasses to be of brilliant quality! Their frames are interchangeable, durable, flexible and provide great comfort. Also, the price range is wonderful and their lenses provide crisp vision.

The staff are friendly, helpful and professional. I have only the highest praise for Carina Trina who has been very helpful with my chronic dry eye problem in suggesting new products to try, and for listening to my concerns. My new tinted lens provide me with some relief from light intolerance indoors.

As a two year customer of Dresden I can honestly say this company is a fresh air in Australian similar markets: especially unusually friendly staff make me recommend it to everybody, Well done..

The staff are lovely. They try very hard to make your experience as good as possible. I love that everything is recyclable or made from recycled materials.

The progressive lenses aren't as good as my original progressive lenses. It is really hard to change the frames contrary to what is advertised.

Your West End staff were all very lovely and efficient. I love the concept behind Dresden Vision, with it's focus on recycling and sustainability. Even better that it's an Australian innovation manufactured in Sydney. My glasses are light and comfortable to wear, and the simple pin design makes it easy to mix up the look. I'm looking forward to adding more colour to my collection with additional frames, arms and pins.

Online delivery took a bit longer than I was expecting with Dresden NZ sending 12 days after ordering. Glasses are very good with the only issue for me being that I need glasses when riding a motorbike and with the helmet on, the frame arms are quite a chunky 4mm thick with no tapering and rigid arms, resulting in glasses arms badly scrapping and being very painful to put on with a tight fitting (as it should be) helmet. These glasses are therefore not suitable for motorcyclists. In the next generation if the ends were tapered this might help.
