All inclusive Platinum package is worth every penny to get freelancers to write everything incuding a book outline, book, book summary, edit it and add a book cover!!! I enjoyed the process and was amazed at the results.

I love the fact that I receive professional assistance with the creation of my books at all steps, whenever needed. The contributors to all projects are exceptional and work with you through each step to create the product you want.

I'd like to start off the review by saying that TUW support is phenomenal. I had an issue with my selected writer (caught them red-handed copying/pasting from ChatGPT), and TUW reviewed it, concluded what I already knew, and offered many options to rectify the situation, including replacing the writer and doing a complete rewrite. I've used the platform twice, and the first experience was much better than my last one. The second experience was so rough, I'm not sure if I'll ever use the platform again. At least, not for work of any story length. You get to choose your writers, editors, cover artists, etc, but it is so hard to tell whether or not these individuals are truly producing good work based on tiny samples. Both of my projects had issues that manifest AFTER the deliverables were presented to me / "complete." And you only get so many revisions, so if they completely miss the mark, you are out of luck. I had issues with both project cover artists. With the first project (fiction), the artist's portfolio sample works were incredible, and what they delivered was absolute garbage. I threw my hands up and just made the cover myself, so it's my own fault for not reporting this to TUW support. I did, however, rate the talent poorly. I just got so frustrated from the exchange, it was no longer worth my time to continue to communicate what I wanted. The second cover artist (self-help) did an incredible job with the design on very little guidance. When they delivered, I realized the fonts they used cost $100 for publishing licenses (each), and I wasn't going to be able to edit the source files they delivered. So I had to recreate the entire thing myself, and use fonts that weren't license-locked. I expect extra costs to be communicated prior to delivery for my approval, and I don't think that the talent on TUW understand basic legalities associated with the work they're doing. If I hadn't, I would've exposed myself to legal liability. The cover artists were just the tip of the iceberg, since I mentioned earlier that one of my writers completely phoned in his work with AI. The second writer had some schedule issues, which I tried to be understanding about, and we eventually finished that project ... but that project is now more than a month late due to all factors. And with cover artist issues, it put it that much farther behind. Also, the platform only seems to keep up with / present the changes that you requested and that were approved by you from the writers. If an editor submits changes and the writer approves them quickly, there's no record for you, as the author, of what changed. So I was a bit frustrated to find out that my editor submitted their work, the writer approved the changes, and I had no idea what changed because there's not a record of it on my end. So I had to read the entire work again, just in case. TL;DR - Buyer beware. I paid for a higher tier set of services, and I don't believe that I received the level of service one would expect, but I'm sure mileage varies ... depending on how lucky you are during the process of selecting your talent. Unfortunately, you won't know how unlucky you are until they've delivered the product, unless you're lucky enough to catch them copying/pasting or you're constantly in contact with support to rectify the ineptitude of the person that you chose based on work that may or may not be their own. I don't know what the vetting process is for talent on the platform, but I believe they need to have a much better one.

I have really enjoyed my experience thus far from the writer I am now choosing to work with, River, to my call with Mikayla. I would be giving 5 stars if I was able to actually have a video call with my author to just verify that I'm working with a real human and to talk through the book in a more natural way. Found Plagiarism and notified me. This is one service I wouldn't have if I just hired somebody to write for me. The Urban Writers takes quality seriously and has a zero tolerance policy for plagiarism. When my first manuscript came back full of plagiarism, they notified me and helped me find a new (better) writer.
