I purchased a writing package from The Urban Writers. My writer was excellent as was my cover designer. The editing was not good nor was the formatting. I had to do a lot of the editing on my own and ended up outsourcing the formatting which added an additional cost. I also didn't like that they kept asking me to tip. I live overseas and we don't tip in Australia nor do many countries. I would prefer TUW up their prices or pay their workers accordingly instead of asking me to tip. That said, what sells a book is the writing and the cover so all in all, it was a good experience.

Writer Chloe Sparks is great! Still not keen on the platform for setting up a project. Not happy with the price going up... I don't believe I will be able to afford for a 4th book.

The Urban Writers were accommodating and professional from the start. The writer and editor were extremely personable and clearly love what they do. The site was easy to navigate and the instructional videos on every aspect of the use of the site were superb. I will be using Urban Writers again in the future.

Great experience. It felt seamless once I secured my writer. There is sometimes a bit of a wait to wait for a writer that you want, becuse they may be working on other projects, I did not factor that into my timeline, but I understood. My writer was good and received feedback well, she updated me and got the project done on time, with approved extension. My editor was also very good. I liked how once my writer was done the project was automatically posted to receive the interest of editors. I picked my editor based on recommendation from my writer, but had a number of editors apply. Overall great experience. Would use them again.
