Pinwheel's support is one of the best I've ever experienced! Don't know how they do it but whenever you chat with customer support, they make you feel like they are family trying to (and succeeding) in helping you figure it out. Now if only I could get my health insurance customer service to take a lesson from Pinwheel!

Tony R was great but the phones are VERY glitchy. We live in Arizona and our time zone never changes. Twice a year the phones are off by one hour and it seems like I have to spend a hour with customer support to resolve.

I have a mixed opinion about this service. Let me start with the pros that I love about it: 1. I love that it's basically a cloned phone. Anything the kid does on the phone is seen by the parent. 2. Kids can't add contacts or apps without permission from the parent. 3. No internet. No Google ! Love this ! 4. Parents have complete control over the phone.... EXCEPT, it's really Pinwheel that controls the parents and has the final say. What I absolutely hate about this phone is: 1. The Slim Blu phone is a bit unreliable for the price and they dont have much else. They also do not have insurance which is crazy when you think about it being a kids phone. 2. They do not allow parents to choose any apps at all. Ultimately, parents should be able to have the option to say yes or no to an app, not Pinwheel. Pinwheel gives a review and advice and that's wonderful and where it should stop. They overstep by not allowing apps simply because they are fun (and they are safe, I have vetted them myself) and not educational. Yet, they have apps that really aren't used very often in the real world. They have ZERO apps for the 11-15 age group. If you have a 5 year old that needs a phone, this is great for them because there are a lot of young children apps. 3. It says the phone grows with the child, but that's impossible. In real life, kids use apps. Teaching them to use them responsibly is a much better teaching tool that simply outlawing every app that isn't educational (except Pokémon go, for some reason that insane app is allowed even though kids have gotten hurt playing it. But, that is literally the only app for the 11-15yr age bracket).

Chen B provided fast and friendly service over the live chat after my child had changed the security settings and forgotten the password, locking her out of the device. This is not something that I would have been able to do on an ordinary smartphone is precisely why this software/service is very much needed for preteens.

When looking for a phone for my son, Pinwheel came up in my search. I was a bit skeptical because I had never heard of this company but, after having this phone for 5 months now, I have only had a good experience. Customer service is 100% amazing too. If you have a question about anything, there is always someone there to help. I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend them to anyone looking for a monitored phone for their child.

Dino Noriega was extremely helpful and able to take care of the issue when the first agent couldn't. Took alot of back and forth throughout the day, which is why I took off a star. But both customer service agents (Dino and "Chen B") were friendly and professional. I made a suggestion as to how I hoped Pinwheel could prevent the issue I had and asked it to be forwarded to the appropriate department.
